Although it may seem hard to believe, Fuller House, the Netflix original spin-off of the classic sitcom, has finally had its fifth and final season. Though the first trailer, which was released all the way back in 2016, garnered a good amount of excitement, Fuller House was a relatively continuous disappointment.

However, looking past the mistake that was the recent reboot, the original Full Housewhich ran from 1987-1995 remains one of the funniest, most classic sitcoms of all time. The show was filled with a cast of sassy, sarcastic, and dramatic characters; a mix of adults trying to be adults, adults trying to be kids, and kids trying to be funny. Those 8 hilarious seasons have resulted in countless classic quotes and catchphrases; here are the 10 best.

Cut It Out

Of the many goofy voices and impressions of Joey Gladstone, played by Dave Coulier, 'cut it out' is perhaps his most famous catchphrase. Used throughout the show, and always accompanied by a smirk and the famous hand motions (finger scissors - point - thumbs-up behind the shoulder), this catchphrase summed up Joey's character completely.

He was always laughing, always trying to make others laugh, and always messing around with funny faces, hand motions, and voices, especially where Jesse is concerned.

Oh Mylanta

Of the entire eccentric cast, DJ probably has the least amount of memorable quotes, catchphrases, and moments in general. She was always the more serious character, often enwrapped in some sort of drama involving high school and her weird best friend, Kimmy.

Even with all that, she still had one catchphrase: 'Oh Mylanta,' which she used whenever anything really bad, good, or surprising happened. The phrase usually involved boys.

Oh Please

Michelle Tanner, was, without a doubt, the star of the entire show. Portrayed by the Olsen twins, who refused to come back for the Fuller House reboot, Michelle was both sarcastic, over-dramatic, and adorable.

Of her many, many catchphrases, this one never fails to be funny. Always accompanied by an over-exaggerated head and eye roll, and extreme emphasis, Michelle's 'oh, puuhlease' will always crack us up.

You're In Big Trouble, Mister

As the youngest in a big family, Michelle experienced her fair share of pranks and practical jokes; she was always able to recognize when someone was doing something they shouldn't be. Whether in private or before the entire family (and an irate Danny), she would shake her finger and drop the line, followed immediately by genuine laughter.

But, as Michelle got a bit older, she began to get into trouble herself; this is where her catchphrase turned truly hilarious - when she used it on herself: "Am I in big trouble, mister?"

Duh

Another gem from the sassy, blonde-haired toddler, Michelle managed to make that one simple word quite the insult. Hurled sarcastically and with extreme pomp (head roll, eye roll, defeated hand gesture) towards her elders, usually her two, occasionally obnoxious siblings, who would do or say something stupid or blatantly obvious, she was always able to cut them down.

Perhaps this one was always a little funnier because of the age difference between Michelle and the people that were on the receiving end of her one-word sarcastic attack; somehow, she always seemed like the smartest person in the room.

Watch The Hair

Uncle Jesse, played by John Stamos, was the height of cool; he was a guitarist, a songwriter, and he had a luscious, majestic mane. And though he loved Elvis, his friends, and the girls, there are few things he loved more than his hair.

Beyond being caught on tape talking to his hair in front of the mirror, he uttered the phrase 'watch the hair' quite often, whenever anyone got a little too close to his 'boys.' And though he tried very hard to protect his locks, Stephanie still managed to cut off a big chunk, during a 'pretend' haircut.

No Way Jose

For a child actor, Michelle really had fantastic comedic timing. Sometimes accompanied by bright and bold getups (massive sunglasses and a flower dress), Michelle uttered the phrase 'no way Jose' whenever something was about to happen that seemed to be beyond her comprehension. When Uncle Joey claimed he could make a flower dance, he got hit with a quick "no way Jose."

While this one lacks the head rolling, finger waving drama of many of Michelle's other famous phrases, it's her facial expressions and her impeccable timing that make this one so funny.

How Rude

Stephanie Tanner, the middle child, was always quite the character. With an irrepressible penchant for mischief, she was at the receiving end of a fair share of "you're in big trouble mister," from both her younger sister and her dad.

That aside, she had to deal with a fair amount of practical jokes, sarcastic insults, and childish pranks all the same, and her response to these moments will never not be funny. Like with many of Michelle's catchphrases, this one is funny in the way she says it. With an exaggerated voice crack and an extremely powerful emphasis, Steph can quickly turn an insult into a joke.

Have Mercy

Beyond the goofy, endlessly hilarious antics between Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey, Jesse maintains some of the best catchphrases from the show. Besides his glorious hair, his phrase 'have mercy' was used throughout the entire 8-year run of the show.

Whenever Jesse was having a good day, or whenever something good (or great) happened, for instance, kissing a beautiful lady, the softly uttered 'have mercy' would always complete the moment. And ever since he and Becky started dating, we all heard this one quite often.

You Got It, Dude

Without a doubt, the most iconic phrase that Full House has ever coined goes to Michelle, for her classic, hilarious, 'you got it, dude.' Where many of her key catchphrases were rude or sarcastic, though no less funny for that, this one was always positive.

Michelle answering a question with the iconic thumbs-up, big grin, and a 'you got it, dude' is always the best possible situation to run into. This was the phrase where she managed to be both funny and adorable, and all without the dramatic sarcasm.
