Here's how you can watch Frozen online, including whether or not the movie is available to stream on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu. Released in 2013, Frozen, directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, is the second highest=grossing animated movie of all time, behind 2019's remake of The Lion King. Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad, Frozen is one of Disney's biggest achievements.

Frozen follows Elsa (Menzel), a princess with powers that allow her to create ice and snow, and her sister, Anna (Bell). Elsa's uncontrollable powers eventually cause a rift between the two sisters. After Elsa is crowned queen, she flees to seek isolation due to the fear of the kingdom finding out about her powers. Elsa builds a palace of ice but also unintentionally traps the kingdom in eternal winter. Anna sets out to find her sister and finds an ally in Kristoff the mountaineer (Groff), his reindeer sidekick Sven, and a talking snowman named Olaf (Gad). The team vow to save the kingdom from the dangers of winter.

Since the movie's debut, it has become an instant classic with viewers of all ages. Frozen won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature as well as for Best Song with "Let It Go." Two years after the movie's release, Disney announced the plans for a Frozen sequel. Frozen 2 officially hits theaters on November 22 and features the return of the core voice cast as well as a number of new additions. With the sequel approaching, there's even more reason to watch the original film. Unfortunately, Frozen won't be found on some of the most popular streaming services.

Frozen Isn't Available On Netflix, Prime, Or Hulu

Sven and Kristoff in Disney's Frozen

Frozen is not available to stream on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu. This may come as no surprise to some considering the film is now available on Disney's brand new streaming service, Disney+. Frozen was included in the impressive list of titles on Disney+'s November 12 launch. Of course, it's not recommended to subscribe to a streaming service for just one title, but that's not the case in this situation. Disney+ is the home to over 600 titles since launch day, and fans of Frozen will surely be fans of other Disney titles. There are, however, other ways to watch Frozen.
