In addition to opening up the world of Frozen in the sequel, the Frozen 2 cast has also been expanded with new voice actors and actresses. Frozen 2 takes Anna and Elsa on a journey out of Arendelle and into an enchanted forest, as Elsa tries to discover where her powers came from. It's a darker, more emotionally complex movie than Frozen, but that should fit nicely with its target audience, many of whom have matured since the release of the first movie.

As well as the return of the central characters, the Frozen 2 cast introduces some new characters, too, not least the leader and members of the Northuldra tribe. There are expanded roles as well, for Anna and Elsa's parents, who only appeared briefly in Frozen. And along with new cast members and characters, Frozen 2 sees the inclusion of several new songs - from Oscar-winning duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez - one for each of the main characters.
