From Dusk ‘Till Dawn star Danny Trejo recalls a charming moment of familiarity with costar George Clooney in an interview. The two starred in the film alongside Harvey Keitel, Salma Hayek, Juliette Lewis, Ernest Liu, and Quentin Tarantino, who also wrote the film, which was directed by Robert Rodriguez. From Dusk ‘Till Dawn opened to mixed reviews and was a financial success at the box office. Trejo would go on to star in films like the Machete films, the Spy Kids franchise, and Predators, with no signs of slowing down, as he has 20 roles credited to his name on IMDb for 2022 alone. George Clooney found massive success with Ocean’s Eleven and its sequels, 2009’s Up in the Air, and Syriana, which earned him an Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.

While breaking down his most iconic roles for GQ, Danny Trejo recalled a heartwarming reunion with From Dusk ‘Till Dawn costar George Clooney. The moment came when Trejo went to the premiere of Up in the Air. In the GQ interview, Trejo said that Clooney was unbelievable and called him over during his Up in the Air premiere to exclaim that Trejo was in his first movie. How George Clooney Went From TV Actor To Movie Star

Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney look into a car trunk in From Dusk Till Dawn

In an interview from the set of From Dusk ‘Till Dawn, Clooney joked he was glad he became an actor, because he didn’t know what else he was going to do, claiming that he ruined everything he touched. He also revealed that he’d slept on the floor of a friend’s closet. Clooney’s definitely had a rough journey toward stardom, finally reaching his big break with From Dusk ‘Till Dawn, which catapulted him toward success and gave him opportunities to star in more feature films.

Before becoming a household name, Clooney appeared in TV shows such as The Facts of Life, Roseanne, Sisters and ER. In the same ET interview, Clooney joked that, while he struggled, he was still working consistently for 12 years. He also joked that, in ER, he had it easy, playing a pediatrician, not having to remember ten-dollar words for the part.

It’s heartwarming to see that Clooney’s bought his humility with him throughout the years, even as his movies have collectively made $3 billion at the box office. While it seems he’s more selective about his roles recently, he’s still on everyone's radar. With Trejo recently recalling their charming From Dusk 'Till Dawn reunion, it’d be nice to see them share another.
