It’s hilarious enough to make everyone snicker and is one of the best insults she makes throughout the entire series. Rachel spills the tea. Of course, having specific body parts does not necessarily make anyone of one gender or another, but in this case, Rachel points out the mentality of many cis-men.
The Bridesmaid Dress
“I can't believe I have to walk down the aisle in front of 200 people looking like something you drink when you're nauseous!”
This is definitely something that every single fan was thinking, and it was just the more hilarious that it was admitted by Rachel herself. That was a horrendous dress, and there isn’t much else to say.
At the very least, she could admit to herself, and the gang laughed with her (or at her) about it. It certainly wasn’t one of her best outfits.
Growing Up
“Everyone is getting married or pregnant or promoted and I’m getting coffee! And it’s not even for me!”
Everyone has been there, especially in their 20s. Friends are getting married, having babies, and adulting, and some people are still working at coffee shops trying to get their lives together.
This quote summarizes what half of the world is definitely always thinking. Sometimes, everyone deserves to get themselves a cup of coffee.
No Opinion
“No uterus, no opinion.”
When Joey takes Rachel to the hospital when she has stomach pain during her pregnancy, the doctor and Ross are quick to explain that it’s nothing.
Rachel clap backs that these men know nothing about pregnancy and how it really feels, in this iconic quote. Of course, as mentioned above, people do not need a uterus to identify as a woman, but in this specific case, this quote got at the heart of issues with cis-men thinking they always know best.
And The Laundry
“You know what I figure? If I can do laundry, there’s nothing I can’t do.”
To a similar tune, everyone has felt the sheer pride of doing their own laundry for the first time. Even still, folding clean clothes might be the most assuring feeling that you’re crushing adulthood.
Rachel’s relatable moments are also totally wholesome and hilarious, and they’re also totally reassuring. Tackle that laundry, and feel like you can do anything. Plus, it’s an iconic Rachel and Ross moment.
Baby Names
Ross (discussing baby names): “What about Ruth?”
Rachel: “I’m sorry. Are we having an 89-year-old?”
Nothing is cuter than baby Emma, but nothing was funnier than Ross and Rachel trying to agree on a name. Ruth is actually kind of cute, but what Rachel says is definitely the first thing everyone thought.
Obviously, Emma is the only thing fans can think of their baby being called, but this moment still sticks out as a hilarious comeback from Rachel.
Decision Making Is Hard
“I felt like such an idiot! I mean, it's all my fault! And you know why, because I make very bad decisions.”
Everyone has been there, Rachel, and most of humanity definitely think they should never be allowed to make decisions ever again. When Rachel gets back from her solo trip to Greece, she’s furious at Ross, but blames herself.
She says what everyone was thinking about her decision, and about their lives in general. Rachel Green is always relatable - especially when it comes to learning how to adult.
The Phone Hang Up

(Rachel grabs phone and ends the call)
Rachel: “I’m sorry, I thought you were talking to me.”
This was infinitely funnier because Rachel was seriously sassy about Ross and Julie, but it was also just a moment that every single human could probably relate to.
When that romantic and gushy couple is trying to hang up the phone without actually doing so, everyone has had a moment where they just want to take it and do it for them. Rachel did what anyone else would.
