While our favorite sitcom, Friendsended quite a handful of years ago, we think it will always be timeless. We all still binge it, and we definitely have our favorite quotes, characters, and parts from the series. While we can still all relate to these characters, there are definitely some '90s aspects of this show that don't exactly fit great into today's society. For one thing - the outfits. Honestly, there are many outfits we'd love to steal from Rachel Green's closet, but there are some that should definitely stay in that decade. So, without further ado, here are 5 outfits from the show that are totally '90s, and 5 we'd still wear today.

90s: The Sweater, Shirt, & Dress

This outfit is from the pilot episode. To be honest, Monica still looks absolutely adorable in this outfit. However, it's pretty '90s. In fact, there's actually a lot of outfits that this gal wears that we're happy to leave behind in that decade. Still, we can't think of anything quite more '90s than this over-sized dress over a t-shirt, not to mention the sweater wrapped around her waist. It's still cute, but we think '90s Monica was perfect for just that - the '90s.

Today: The Tank & Jeans

Clearly, not all of Monica's wardrobe should be hung up for good. In fact, she'll appear again on this list for her absolutely amazing style. We'd like to borrow a lot of Monica's outfits, and this red tank and ripped mom jean is absolutely perfect for 2019. Seriously, this woman is timeless, and this character was setting high standards for today's fashion all the way back in the '90s. Seriously, where can we buy both of these items, because this would be a-rockin' summer outfit.

90s: The Button-Up & The V-Neck

Everything about this photo screams 1990. Let's start with Monica's satin-looking white button-up vest. That's something we'd probably leave in that decade. Mainly though, this list item is about the boys. Chandler's wardrobe is definitely the most '90s of the whole crew, and this striped button-up is definitely no exception. While Joey is usually pretty modern, this v-neck half-sleeve absolutely screams 1990, and we would very, very much like to leave it there. Sorry, guys.

Today: The Suits

If there's one thing the boys do well, it's their professional suits. Ross is actually always looking pretty spiffy, when you know, he's not wearing leather pants. His suits and coats would blend in perfectly in today's society, and we would borrow them in a heartbeat. Chandler still likes the '90s color-scheme, but his dress shirts and suit jackets are still totally reasonable for today. These two handsome men can keep it modern, and we love these two all cleaned up.

90s: The Way-Too-Bright Suits

Of course, we might have spoken too soon. These suits are actually part of a "throwback" scene from the series, but it's safe to say they are very, very '90s. That bright yellow tee with that blue blazer, and that red tee with the shockingly white jacket, let's just say these two heartthrobs would be handsome, maybe, in 1990. Not to burst their bubble of coolness, but we're pretty sure they'd stick out like a sore thumb if they were to show up spiffed up like this to any event in 2019.

Today: The Black Shirt & Striped Pants

We said Monica would score another slot, and it's because we literally want this outfit immediately. If you wore this in 2019, you would likely turn heads and instantly be seen as totally fashion-forward and cool. Not only does this outfit look totally comfortable, but it's actually kind of the '90s comeback outfit we're seeing more and more of today. Monica was always on the right track, and we absolutely love this black striped combo. Seriously, where can we buy this outfit?

90s: Most of Phoebe's Wardrobe

We love Phoebe, but her and Chandler are pretty '90s with their entire wardrobe. This outfit is also from the pilot episode, and actually sums up Phoebe's style (and personality) pretty well. We've seen her wear all types of things, and she's definitely that eccentric and individual gal from 1990. Honestly, while we probably wouldn't wear most of her wardrobe today, we think it's totally Phoebe, and she rocks pretty much everything she wears, even this interesting ripped-sleeve jean-jacket vest.

Today: The Black Dress

We thought we should have a redeeming spot for Phoebe, and this dress literally looks like something straight from the Oscars red carpet or the MET Gala. Seriously, that necklace and this gown are stunning, and this would steal the show at any event in 2019. We know Phoebe can clean up nice, and this dress definitely proves that. She always looks stunning, but this is one outfit we could confidently wear in today's society and blow everyone away.

90s: The Checkered Pants & Baggy Tops

We pretty much want to steal everything from Rachel's closet, and it's not a secret she's the fashionista of the group. However, she definitely wears some classic '90s clothes, and these checkered pants are certainly no exception. Maybe Jennifer Aniston could pull those off today, but we're not sure anyone else in 2019 should be wearing those. Also, Monica's and Phoebe's outfits both scream '90s, too, and this whole scene definitely gives us nostalgia from that decade.

Today: The Sweater & Plaid Skirt

It was nearly impossible to pick Rachel's best, most modern outfit from the series. Honestly, we would wear almost all of her clothes today and be totally okay with it. However, we thought we'd pick this gem, because we think Rachel is absolutely the most stunning and adorable gal in that white turtleneck and plaid skirt. Sure, it has a '90s feel, but that's exactly why people would slay in it today. it also looks surprisingly comfortable, and you'd definitely be giving off all the popular and chic Rachel Green vibes if you wore this today. Seriously though, we'll take one of everything in Rachel's closet, thank you very much.
