The Friends crew is full of interesting and funny characters but there's truly no one like Joey Tribbiani. He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but that's the beauty of his character.

Everything Joey says and does is hilarious. Merely because of the fact that he is clueless about anything and everything. No matter what ridiculous thing Joey says, his friends still love him and if he were a real person, it'd be impossible not to laugh along just as viewers have laughed along with Joey since the early '90s. Here are 10 of the best things Joey has ever said.

"Oh, I Don’t Know Chandler, I’m Not So Good At Remembering Lines."

Here's a perfect example of how Joey keeps his friends and viewers laughing. When Chandler comes to Joey and asks for help setting up a joke, this is Joey's response. The irony is that Joey is an actor for a living. Meaning, memorizing lines is his job. If there's anything Joey should be good at it's memorization skills.

What makes this scene more hilarious is that Chandler calls Joey out for not being able to memorize lines with a sarcastic remark and Joey doesn't even realize that Chandler is making fun of him. This is the appeal of Joey Tribbiani.

"Here Come The Meat Sweats."

When Monica decides she doesn't want to make a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner, Joey is absolutely outraged. This is where the famous line, "here come the meat sweats," was born.

If there's one thing Joey loves more than women, it's food. Not only is Joey always looking for something to bite into but he even goes as far as thinking ahead to plan his meals, and Joey Tribbiani doesn't plan anything. For Joey, food is everything which means not having turkey on Thanksgiving is disastrous. So, when Monica makes him a turkey, he eats the whole thing and gets what he calls the "meat sweats."

"You Can’t Just Give Up! Is That What A Dinosaur Would Do?"

Joey is many things but a bad friend is not one of them. When his friends are feeling down, he does whatever it takes to brighten their spirits.

In this pep talk, Joey tries to motivate Ross to get back together with Rachael by telling her how he feels. To do so, Joey tries to relate to Ross by talking to Ross "in his language." And by "his language," Joey means dinosaurs. Sadly, Ross doesn't relate to Joey's prehistoric reference but the pep talk does work and that's the most important part!

“Well, The Fridge Broke, So I Had To Eat Everything.”

There aren't many situations that stress Joey Tribbiani out...until his fridge broke. Being someone who loves food more than most things in life, this was a terrible experience for poor Joey.

When Joey has fridge problems, the only logical solution is to eat all of the food in the fridge so it doesn't go to waste. He even eats food that has gone bad. From cold cuts to ice cream, limes, and something really old in a brown jar. Yes. This is disgusting, but it is just how Joey Tribbiani rolls.

"I Am Pretty 'Wisdomous.'”

Joey is a man of many talents but speaking the English language isn't always one of them. In yet another hilarious episode of Friends, joey makes up the word "wisdomous."

Since Joey and Phoebe share a special connection, it's no surprise that Phoebe asks Joey to walk her down the aisle at her wedding when her imprisoned stepdad couldn't make it. What was a surprise (and a hilariously pleasant one at that) was Joey's reaction stating that he is pretty wisdomous. Of course, he thinks this is a real word, and since it's Joey no one really stops to correct him because they're used to his shenanigans. This one-liner never gets old.

"Nice Try. See The Netherlands Is This Make-Believe Place, Where Peter Pan And Tinkerbell Come From."

Aside from food and acting, another one of Joey's passions is hitting on women. Unfortunately, he doesn't always succeed at this either.

One of his biggest failures, when it came to scoring a hot babe, was during a friendly game of touch football with the gang. A Dutch bystander, and a beautiful one at that, stops by the game. Naturally, both Joey and Chandler start talking her up. The only thing is Chandler sets Joey up for failure when he asks him where he thinks Dutch people come from. When Joey is told they come from the Netherlands, he gets this confused with Neverland, the make-believe magical land Peter Pan comes from.

“What’s Not To Like? Custard: Good! Jam: Good! Meat: Goooooood!”

Rachel isn't the best cook and it shows when she messes up a recipe for a trifle. Though trifles are usually delicious layers of cream, custard, and sweetness, Rachel ends up putting meat in hers.

But being the good friends Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Ross are, they pretend her trifle is delicious. Joey on the other hand, doesn't pretend at all. In fact, he eats the whole thing even though it smells like feet. According to Joey, all the ingredients are delicious, so logically what's not to love about a trifle filled with sweet cream, custard, jam, and meat.

“Name? I Know Ross But What’s It Stand For? You Know Like, Like Rossel Or Rosstepher.”

When Ross breaks his thumb, Joey accompanies him to the hospital. Since hospital visits always come hand-in-hand with filling out paperwork about personal information and medical-related questions, Joey offers to help Ross get them done when he notices Ross is struggling to write.

Though Joey only had good intentions, his filling out the forms just frustrates Ross. The first line left blank was for Ross to list his name causing Joey to ask Ross what Ross is, in fact, short for. Obviously this is unfortunate and annoying for Ross but fortunate for viewers because it's hilarious.

“But It Hurts My Joey’s Apple”

Joey complains about his Joey's/Adam's apple in Friends

In this episode of Friends, Joey gives viewers a quick lesson about anatomy, obviously, it's wrong because it's Joey but it's hilarious nonetheless.

Every man has a small lump under their chin called an Adam's Apple. Joey on the other hand, seems to think his little bump is called at Joey's apple. To Joey, the little lump underneath men's troats is named after the individual man instead of its true biblical origins being that of Adam and Eve. Though Chandler tries to correct him, Joey doesn't really listen and that is just fine because it's hilarious.

"How You Doin'?"

There's no Joey Tribbiani without the classic line "how you doin'?" The three words are Joey's signature catchphrase and are something all Friends viewers can recognize him by.

To add to this, no one on the show delivers the line better than Joey does. Try as they may, it just wouldn't sound right coming from Ross, Chandler, Rachel, Monica, or Phoebe. Since these three little words make up the man, the myth, the legend that is Joey Tribbiani, they are the number one reason why it's the best thing Joey has ever said.
