Fraser Olender is returning to Below Deck season 10, but this time he is taking on the role of Chief Stew. The former second stew is making history as the first male in the franchise who has this position, and is more than deserving of a promotion. Fraser proved his worth to Captain Lee and the rest of the crew in Below Deck season 9. Although viewers believe that the previous season of the show fell flat, Fraser's appearance made it all worth it, and fans are excited for him to come back.

On Below Deck season 9, second stew Fraser really stepped up his game. The interior team struggled when third stew Jessica Albert seemed checked out and was not willing to improve when given constructive criticism from Chief Stew, Heather Chase. Fraser was usually put on service because of his level of experience, and Jessica was always in the laundry room, away from the charter guests. When Heather decided to switch their responsibilities, Fraser adapted quickly and organized the laundry room to make it cleaner and easier to work in.

Fraser Has Qualities That Will Make Him A Great Below Deck Chief Stew

Fraser Olender from Below Deck

After Fraser's success last season, it's not a surprise that he was promoted to Chief Stew. The yachtie is a hard worker, friendly to the guests, and is able to adjust well under pressure. Below Deck season 9 had a major shakeup on the interior crew when Jessica decided to quit her job with little notice. Fraser had to do double the work, both on service and in the laundry room. Viewers had a chance to see Fraser shine, and it was noticed by Captain Lee and the other crew members.

Fraser is now an experienced crew member, as well as a Below Deck veteran. The newest Chief Stew is entering an unfamiliar yacht called the St. David, and it will be a challenge for him to get used to the layout. However, it will be helpful for Fraser to reunite with the same captain and to work with Chef Rachel Hargrove again in the galley. Fraser has a new crew on Below Deck season 10, which consists of stews Hayley De Sola Pinto, Alissa Humber, and Below Deck's first ever stew and deckhand, Camille Lamb. Hopefully, he can take what he learned during his first season on the show and pass it onto his fellow crew members.

Over the years, Below Deck had its fair share of Chief Stews who entered and exited the show. While some of them were great at their jobs, others really missed the mark with viewers and Captain Lee. Bravo fans are hopeful that Fraser will make an incredible Chief Stew and ensure that the charter season goes smoothly. When Below Deck season 10 premieres, viewers will have their eye on Fraser to see how he does in his new position.
