FOX is bringing The X-Files, The Gifted, and more to this year's New York Comic Con. To many, it probably seems like San Diego Comic-Con just happened, and to be fair, it was only two months ago. Still, the Hollywood promotional train never stops rolling, and exactly one month from now, the annual New York Comic Con event takes place. FOX has announced what they're bringing to the table for the festivities, including an old favorite, two new prospects, and a horror series looking to avoid the sophomore slump.

The biggest name of the bunch is The X-Files, which memorably returned to TV in 2016, after nearly 14 years off the air. Despite being a mere six episodes, that revival was a huge hit for FOX, putting out some of the best ratings of the entire broadcast season. With season 11 set to up the episode count to 10, there's no reason to expect that millions of X-Philes won't tune in this time too.

According to Deadline, The X-Files' panel will take place on Sunday, October 8th at 1pm EST. In attendance will be arguably the series' core four: creator Chris Carter, along with stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and Mitch Pileggi. Fans will be treated to a sneak peek of season 11, which arrives on FOX next January.

New Marvel series The Gifted will have its panel at 2:45 on Sunday, with creator Matt Nix, as well as stars Amy Acker, Stephen Moyer, and Jamie Chung set to take part. A preview of episode 2 will be shown, as by that point, the premiere will have already aired. At 4pm on Sunday is The Exorcist panel, featuring creator Jeremy Slater, showrunner Sean Crouch, and cast members Ben Daniels, Alfonso Herrera, Kurt Egyiawan, John Cho and Zuleikha Robinson. They'll be showing off an extended scene from season 2, episode 3, with the first two episodes having already aired by then.

Elsewhere, Saturday, October 7th will be Seth MacFarlane night for FOX, as panels will be held for both long-running animated sitcom Family Guy and new sci-fi comedy The Orville. The 7pm panel will mark Family Guy's first ever presentation at NYCC, and will feature a first look at the series' big 300th episode, which is set to air in January. The Orville's 6pm panel will treat fans to an extended look at an unaired episode of the show, as well as the usual discussion.

There's still room to buy Thursday tickets for NYCC and to enter Screen Rant's giveaway to win four-day passes! Stick around for more New York Comic Con news as it happens live!
