TLC's Four Weddings is a wedding reality show competition that pits four brides against one another to score each other's weddings. While some brides handle their wins and losses with sportsmanship and grace, not every bride is a good sport during this competition.

It is important to note reality television editing; the brides may not be as poor or as good of sports as portrayed, but according to how the show flowed, here is a look at five brides that were good sports during the wedding competition and five brides that were not.

Was A Good Sport: Karen

Because Karen's venue was chilly on the docks, she supplied blankets on her cold day. Even though she was in the middle of this competition, Karen did not let it sway her day either way. In fact, she even said "If we don't win, that's okay. I won the day of my wedding."

When another bride won the episode, Karen embraced her and congratulated the new wife with, "Oh, Sweetheart, I'm so happy for you."

Was Not A Good Sport: Marie

When asked about her own day, she seemed to focus on her plans unraveling before mentioning how excited she was to marry her fiancé. However, once her wedding started, audiences were beguiled by the love shown for her new husband.

Overall, she just seemed overly confident and overly critical of the other brides. When asked how she would react if she did not win, Marie said, "If I do not win, I could probably go ballistic like I normally do."

Was A Good Sport: Araceli

Season 7, Episode 10 featured a bride that always remained as positive as she could while attending her competitors' weddings. Araceli's light, bubbly personality kept the spirits of other brides lifted and exuded an aura of sweetness that softened the whole experience for everyone.

When Araceli fell during a dance at her own wedding, she simply laughed it off and continued to bask in her wedding day.

Was Not A Good Sport: Kara

This bride's personality seemed to really conflict with the other brides' which lead to quite a difference in wedding and partying opinions. In fact, the bride seemed to steamroll over the more timid and quieter brides.

While Kara was respectful during each wedding (for the most part), her domineering, competitive personality did not play well with others.

Was A Good Sport: Jennifer

Jennifer's Bay cruise venue stunned the other brides but unfortunately was not enough to win her episode. When Jennifer lost the competition, she remembered the real reason she was getting married in the first place.

Despite being disappointed, she said, "I don't want to be sad, but we live a honeymoon life every day. So, it'll be okay."

Was Not A Good Sport: Karen

Karen, though respectful at other brides' weddings, wasn't as respectful during her own wedding. Karen made her fellow brides wait in the other room without any form of entertainment while she took photos, and then when food was served, they were simple sandwiches. One bride even ate a fish product and got bone caught in her throat.

Being a good sport is more than being respectful of other brides their own wedding days. A good sport should also provide sportsmanlike competition.

Was A Good Sport: Emily

Despite Emily not quite getting along with the other brides in her episode, possibly due to her more reserved nature being overshadowed by more boisterous brides, she looked for the best in each wedding and did her best to score fairly.

As Emily said, "Don't hate the player, hate the game."

Was Not A Good Sport: Enza

Enza was a very confident, competitive bride, and there's nothing wrong with this. However, when your confidence outshines the other brides, something is awry.

Perhaps this was a personality casting error, or simply the editing made her look more abrasive than she actually was, but Enza was received to be a poor sport, though there were most definitely other brides that took the cake over her in this league of (lacking) sportsmanship.

Was A Good Sport: Julie

This Marilyn Monroe impersonator stole the show with her three different wedding dresses, choreographed dance, and sparkler send off, but when she did not win the episode in which she was married (season7, episode 3), she was still genuinely happy for the winning bride.

But even before the moment of honeymoon truth, she was a fair scorer and looked for the best in every wedding she attended.

Was Not A Good Sport: Malea

While Malea boasts a stunning wedding that seemed to take the (wedding) cake, her attitude was severely slacking. As a professional chef, it was expected at Malea would have some serious opinions regarding each wedding's food and catering, but overall, her comments were overly critical and petty, and Malea scored other brides rather harshly.

Yes, the nature of this show is competitive, but when a bride's attitude comes across as passive-aggressive, she isn't showing great sportsmanship.
