"Interact with Zero Point Scanning Devices 0/3" is Stage 2 of 2 in a Vibin' Quest in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, tasking participants with gathering Zero Point data from several contraptions placed by The Scientist. Zero Point, also known as the "source of everything," is the heart of Reality Zero and the origin of all reality in the Omniverse. Accordingly, The Scientist wishes to acquire more Zero Point energy readings and therefore requests that the player collect the data from the Scanning Devices in Fortnite.
To get started on "Interact with Zero Point Scanning Devices 0/3," Fortnite fans must complete Stage 1 of 2 of the Vibin' Quest, "Establish the Device Uplink." After landing, open the map to see the nine possible locations where the Device Uplink can be established. There are two spots in Reality Falls, three around Tilted Towers, and four southwest of Shifty Shafts. Head to one of these sites to commence the second stage of the quest.
Once the Uplink has been set up, the player's next objective is to gather Zero Point from three of six Scanning Devices found along the waterways from Reality Falls to Loot Lake, north of Tilted Towers. These devices appear as round metal balls floating in the water. While they technically should be easy to spot, these quest objects in Fortnite can be tricky to see due to the colorful glowing waves pulsing over the water's surface. Thus, players should keep an eye on their HUD for a diamond-shaped icon indicating where precisely the Scanning Device is floating. Moreover, a small beam of white light should appear above the object for more visual clarity.
Finding Fortnite Zero Point Scanning Devices

- Zero Point Scanning Device 1: The first device is in the narrow stream flowing west of Groovy Grove, southeast of the Scratch Pad/
- Zero Point Scanning Device 2: The second device is in the river directly north of the Reality Tree in Fortnite's Reality Falls, near Hench Hut
- Zero Point Scanning Device 3: Follow the same river upstream towards the lake to find the third device. For clarification, go north at the point where the creek splits to the north and south.
- Zero Point Scanning Device 4: The fourth device is north of Tilted Towers near the southern shore of Loot Lake.
- Zero Point Scanning Device 5: The fifth device is on the left side of the Loot Landing island in Loot Lake.
- Zero Point Scanning Device 6: The sixth device is in the northeastern section of Loot Lake, south of Floaties Boats.
