It seems that Deadpool has indeed brought some company with him to Fortnite, as the previously hinted at player skins of iconic X-Force characters like Cable, Domino, and Psylocke are now available to purchase and download. Marvel’s gun-toting, fourth-wall-breaking Merch with a Mouth has been part of a nearly two-month-long cross-promotional campaign with Fortnite, complete with a wave of character-related challenges and unlockable weapons being put out with each passing week.

This finally culminated in the release of a Deadpool player skin in both masked and unmasked variety a couple of weeks ago, alongside other bonuses like a Deadpool-themed variation of the game’s Yacht map. Not content to stop there, just last week a content leak revealed that the Marvel-related Fortnite fun would continue with a player skin bundle modeled after the mutant anti-hero group X-Force, which recent fans will recognize from their brief-but-memorable appearance in the hit 2018 hit film Deadpool 2.

Earlier today, Fortnite’s official Twitter page announced that the X-Force Bundle is now available to purchase in-game. This contains player skins of Cable, Domino, and Psylocke, as shown in a video clip of them joining Deadpool for a round of the colorful base-raiding, Battle Royale hijinks that Fortnite is known for and utilizing various weapons like a mini-gun, an inflatable trampoline, and Psylocke’s famous energy sword weapon. This recent wave of Deadpool and X-Force content is just the latest of many pop-culture crossovers involving Fortnite, with such movies as Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker and Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) previously joining forces with Epic Games' massively popular Battle Royale title to provide players with unlockable skins and even exclusive sneak previews. In addition, longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe arch-villain and Deadpool romantic rival Thanos previously appeared in the game a couple of years ago to promote the then-recent Avengers: Infinity War.

Cable and the X-Force have a deep history with Deadpool in both comics and film, so it makes sense for them to be featured alongside the Merch with a Mouth in his foray into Fortnite, not to mention lending themselves well to the game’s frantic gun-toting action as a group of mercenaries and battle-hardened soldiers from dystopian futures. Players will be able to take on the roles of these characters themselves by purchasing and downloading the X-Force Buddle from Fortnite’s in-game store starting today.
