As Chapter 2 Season 4 of Fortnite nears its end, Marvel's Venom skin has been officially revealed as the next new hero skin along with the details for the $1 million Marvel Knockout Super Series Cup. The last preliminary round of the Marvel Knockout Super Series is almost here, and it is the last chance to qualify for the $1 million tournament scheduled for later this month.

The Marvel Knockout Super Series is a series of tournaments where players are forced to use superhero abilities in place of weapons. The tournaments consist of various team sizes who compete against one another to see which team can get the highest number of kills at the end of each round. There are four preliminary tournaments leading up to a final tournament with a grand prize of $1 million. Each tournament has introduced and featured a new Marvel hero skin to which the top placing teams were granted early access.

Tomorrow is the last of the four preliminary rounds, and Fortnite has officially revealed the featured hero to be the symbiote Venom. This final prelim will be for teams of two, and start times will vary depending on what region the players are located. Participants can check the time for the tournament by visiting the Compete tab in Fortnite's main menu. This tournament is different as there will be two different windows of time for players to compete. As well, Fortnite announced the date for the $1 million Super Cup which will take place on November 21st.

The $1 million for the Super Cup tournament is a prize pool meaning the first-place team(s) will only receive a portion of the $1 million. According to Fortnite's Super Cup details, the first-place teams in each region will win somewhere between $2,500 and $4,000. Instead of the regular Marvel Knockout deathmatch mode, the Super Cup will pit duos against one another in the classic battle royale mode. However, there still won't be any weapons outside of superpowers, and players will be limited to 200 of each building material.

The events will be broadcast live, and the Super Cup is one that no one will want to miss. Watching battles unfold between teams of superpowered Fortnite characters sounds pretty interesting, and the limited materials will help cut down on the seizure-inducing building that is expected of normal competitive Fortnite. Whether players are competing for a Venom skin or for cash, the final two Marvel Knockout Super Series are almost here, which means the end of Fortnite season 4 is near.
