To celebrate the forthcoming theatrical release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Epic Games has deployed an all-new, Tom Hardy-Inspired Eddie Brock outfit in Fortnite that includes a Venom Unleashed Emote. This is not the first time the Symbiote has infiltrated the Island, either.

Carnage and Venom Symbiotes joined Fortnite as mythic weapons that players find scattered around in Canisters. Such content launched as part of the battle royale experience's recently released Chapter 2 Season 8 Battle Pass, allowing users to bond with the Symbiotes like never before. These two iconic characters were a perfect fit, too, given the new Season's focus on The Sideways, a monster-laden reality that's starting to bleed into the world of the main storyline. It only makes sense, then, that Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock joined the fun next.

Yesterday, September 23, Venom-related Fortnite leaks made the rounds online; not too long thereafter, Epic Games confirmed the details itself and unleashed a Tom Hardy-inspired Eddie Brock outfit on the battle royale. Better still, the new get-up comes equipped with a built-in Venom Unleashed Emote that sees players transform into the endlessly hungry Symbiote. This particular design for Venom differs from the character's previous skin in that it's modeled after the upcoming film sequel. In addition, those who pick up Eddie Brock individually or as part of the Venom Bundle can also expect to get their hands on the Symbiote Scythe Pickaxe. The Symbiote Trail Contrail and Symbiotic Sail Glider are available to purchase separately, as well. Meanwhile, the bundle packs in new and returning items, such as the Different Tasty Snack Emoticon and comic Venom outfit, respectively.

Eddie Brock and Venom seem to fit right at home in Fortnite's chaotic world. And these two count as the latest in a long line of comic book characters to join the roster of late. Notably, this year additionally saw the likes of Beast Boy, Raven, Superman, and Suicide Squad's Bloodsport land on the Island.

Let There Be Carnage and the new Fortnite items aren't the only things keeping Venom on the tip of everyone's tongue. During Sony's PlayStation Showcase earlier this month, developer Insomniac Games unleashed a first-look at its eagerly-anticipated Marvel's Spider-Man sequel, which will include Venom voiced by none other than Candyman's Tony Todd.
