Though Fortnite Season 4 appears to be drawing to a close, it seems players can still look forward to more Marvel-themed fun. This season, players have had access to eight Battle Pass skins featuring favorite Marvel characters from Thor to Wolverine, as well as several skins available for purchase from the store like Blade and the Silver Surfer. The next skin to be added to the group is the Daredevil skin, which will be available for purchase in the store. Unlike the other skins to release to the store, however, players have a chance to win this skin one week before it hits stores in the Marvel Daredevil Cup. This is an event that will take place on October 14.

Developer Epic Games has planned a Marvel Knockout Super Series of tournaments where players compete in Trios using the Marvel Knockout LTM. The Daredevil Cup is the first of these. Top teams in each region can earn the skin for free, and the final cup, which takes place on November 21, will allow teams to compete for a prize of $1 million. For players who don't score high enough or who don't want to participate in the tournament, there are other ways to get the Daredevil skin.

How to Get the Daredevil Skin in Fortnite

Players can now experience new game modes and tournaments in Fortnite Season 4

On October 14, players will need to compete in the Marvel Knockout Super Series Daredevil Cup. Players must also rank in the Open League (Division II) or higher in Fortnite's arena mode in their region to qualify.

During the game, the team will earn points based on where they finish. The scoring system is as follows:

  • 1st place finish: 25 points
  • 2nd place: 10 points
  • 3rd or 4th place: 5 points
  • 5th to 8th place: 3 points
  • 9th to 16th place: 1 point

Players must reach enough points to place in the top 100, 200, or 800, based on their region, to earn the skin as a reward. The required placements by region are:

  • North America (East): 1st to 500th place
  • North America (West): 1st to 200th place
  • Europe: 1st to 800th place
  • Brazil: 1st to 200th place
  • Asia: 1st to 100th place
  • Oceania: 1st to 100th place
  • Middle East: 1st to 100th place

The event will be broken into sessions, with each session lasting three hours and players participating in a maximum of 10 matches in each session.

If players do not want to participate, can't participate, or don't reach the required placement to earn the Daredevil skin for free, they can instead wait until Week 9, when the Daredevil skin will be added to the Item Shop. It is not certain exactly how much the skin will cost, but if it is similar to the Blade and Silver Surfer skins already available, it should sell for around 2,000 V-Bucks.

Epic Games has not released the dates or names of their remaining three Super Series cups, but it is possible these will correspond to other Marvel heroes that have been depicted in crossover artwork, including Venom, Captain Marvel, and Ghost Rider.
