With the upcoming next-gen update for The Witcher 3 and CDPR's announcement for The Witcher Remake, fans will undoubtedly be excited to hear that their favorite protagonist, Geralt of Rivia, is coming soon to Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1. For Fortnite players unfamiliar with this character, Geralt is the monster-slaying protagonist of The Witcher video game series that originated from Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski's work. Recently Netflix released Season 2 of The Witcher TV show, which might be another source of new-found fandom. However, those coming from the Netflix series should keep in mind that Geralt's appearance in Fortnite is much more similar to his look and style in The Witcher titles developed by CDPR.

To unlock The Witcher Outfit of Geralt of Rivia in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1, players must purchase and progress through this season's Battle Pass. In other words, the skin will be a "free" reward for those who own the Battle Pass through a V-Buck purchase or a Fortnite Crew subscription. Unfortunately, there are no details as to when this Outfit will be available for players to acquire, but many speculate that the corresponding rewards page will be accessible come February 2023.

Until the mid-season point when the Geralt of Rivia Outfit is released in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1, players should focus solely on gradually leveling their Battle Pass. This strategy will ensure they have progressed far enough to avoid having to worry about missing out on the skin.

Naturally, those with high mechanical skills, FPS experience, and free time will likely reach the Fortnite Battle Pass's set milestones relatively quickly. Conversely, players with less time throughout their week can make sure to put in some effort for doing challenges and objectives for Battle Pass XP. Eventually, they will unlock exclusive rewards like The Witcher skin.

According to The Loadout, the Geralt of Rivia Outfit also appears to have multiple Styles, and cosmetic variations to the base skin in Fortnite. However, these currently cannot be viewed in-game but will seemingly become available as an unlockable on February 28, 2023. These variations will likely be acquirable via Battle Stars, the currency that players can earn by completing pass-related quests and story missions during their gameplay.

A final piece of advice for The Witcher and Fortnite fans would be to follow the game's official social media accounts or keep up to date with game-related news on their website. This way, players can quickly know whenever Geralt and other collaboration skins have been publicly released.
