Fortnite has announced that its upcoming Uncharted crossover will include alternate styles for the movie and game likenesses of each character, including Tom Holland’s portrayal of Nathan Drake, making it the actor's second Fortnite skin. Tom Holland first appeared at the start of Chapter 3 Season 1 as Spider-Man in Fortnite, alongside Zendaya’s MJ, as part of a crossover with Spider-Man: No Way Home, coinciding with the movie's December 2021 release. Fortnite’s Uncharted crossover launches on February 17 at 7 PM ET, a few hours before the Uncharted movie is released.

The new Uncharted skins in Fortnite will feature alternate styles for Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer, with one style being their video game likenesses and the other being their likeness in the upcoming Uncharted movie. Fans of Naughty Dog’s popular Uncharted video game franchise were excited to see the video game characters’ likenesses included, in addition to the movie skins coinciding with the upcoming movie release. The Fortnite and Uncharted character crossover will also feature new Pickaxes, Back Bling, a Glider, and an Emote. In addition to cosmetics that can be purchased from the Item Shop, the crossover will introduce a new in-game item, Drake’s Map. The map will guide players on a hunt for buried treasure, rewarding them with loot.

Tom Holland was first added to Fortnite as Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Peter Parker at the beginning of Chapter 3 Season 1, and will be added a second time as the Uncharted movie’s Nathan Drake just months later, in the same season of Fortnite. Tom Holland isn’t the first actor to have several skins in the popular battle royale game, his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Zendaya also has two Fortnite skins: one as Spider-Man’s MJ and one as Dune’s Chani. There are two John Wick skins in Fortnite, however, only the more recent one is based on Keanu Reeves’ likeness.

Tom Holland and Zendaya’s Peter Parker and MJ were added to Fortnite in December 2021, coinciding with the theatrical release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Spider-Man features prominently throughout Chapter 3 Season 1’s Battle Pass, and the Spider-Man Mythic Web-Shooters in-game item quickly became a fan-favorite. Chapter 3 Season 1’s Bonus Rewards, for players who have claimed all 10 pages of Battle Pass rewards, include various Spider-Man styles to unlock in Fortnite, including the metallic black and gold Gilded Reality style.

Uncharted fans can look forward to the crossover arriving in Fortnite’s Item Shop on February 17, the day before the theatrical release of the new Uncharted movie. While this isn't the first time Tom Holland has appeared in the game, it's also not the first occasion a PlayStation character has featured either. Kratos, from the PlayStation-exclusive God of War games, was added to Fortnite in 2020, and Horizon Zero Dawn protagonist Aloy also came to the game as a PS5 exclusive skin in 2021. It's possible that other PlayStation characters could also join Fortnite in 2022 and beyond, but for now, players are at least well-stocked in the Uncharted and Nathan Drake department.
