A hidden underground location in Fortnite has been discovered that stretches under multiple locations and data files suggest the location is named "The Order." Many players speculate that these newfound catacombs are integral to Fortnite's overarching storyline, but only time will tell which theories are correct.
Fortnite Chapter 2's Seasons each have their own storylines, while the chapter has an overarching storyline that is connected by the events that take place each season. In Season 2, Midas attempted to stop the storm from closing in to stop the loop, but that flooded the map going into Season 3. The events from the end of Season 2 also attracted the attention of Galactus, which set Season 4 in motion. All the while, an unknown organization has been working behind the scenes to maintain The Island's existence and is the driving force for the actions taking place in Season 5.
The underground location was reported by FortTory, a notable Fortnite leaker on Twitter, where the inside of said location is shown off via the game's replay function. The data files for the location's assets reference "The Order", and it can be found underneath The Coliseum and Stealthy Stronghold. The futuristic hallways are adorned with The Order's emblem and several chest spawn locations despite there not being a way to access this portion of the map.
A lot of players speculate that The Order is the organization that Agent Jonesy works for, and this is a reasonable assumption. The new I.O. Guards that spawn around the map are also known as Imagined Order Guards and can be seen running behind Jonesy in the Fortnite Season 5 cinematic trailer. It was also shown during the same cinematic that wherever Agent Jonsey works is located underneath Fortnite's map. There are also several symbols surrounding The Order's emblem that resemble those of Kevin the Cube.
Regardless of where this new discovery takes players, Fortnite Season 5 is already gearing up to be a great one. For those interested in The Island's lore and are dying to know what Galactus was after, answers may start rolling out soon. For everyone else who's only interested in cool skins and new weapons, Season 5 has a lot of new stuff to look forward to. One question is still on everyone's mind, and that question is who are The Seven?
