Week Three of Fortnite Season 4 is here, and it adds a ton of new Marvel content to The Island – including new powers, enemies, and a large POI named Stark Industries. It's been three weeks since Marvel invaded the cartoon-colored battle royale, and in classic Fortnite fashion, new content is added week after week.

Fortnite Season 4 started with Thor, the god of thunder, summoning some of Marvel's most beloved heroes to The Island. He did so in an attempt to build an army to help stop Galactus, devourer of worlds, from consuming the world of Fortnite. In week one, players saw a few map changes including some pieces of machinery developed by Tony Stark. Pleasant Park was taken over by Doctor Doom and transformed into Doom's Domain. Week Two saw Stark's machines come to life and shoot light beams into the sky, and different Marvel-themed landmarks started to appear across the map.

Week 3 started today and it brought with it a huge update filled with new Marvel content. A trailer for the update was posted by both Marvel and Fortnite on their respective Twitter pages, accompanied by a blog post on the Epic Games website. The update has been named the Stark Industries update, and it includes a large POI named Stark Industries. Stark Industries is the epicenter of development for the tech that will aid Marvel's greatest heroes in stopping Galactus. Stark Industries has replaced Frenzy Farm and is home to a certain armored Hero.

The update also brings a slew of new superpowers for players to utilize in battle. These powers feature abilities from Thor, Iron Man, Storm, and She-Hulk, and all deal a massive amount of damage to enemy players. These can be found by defeating mini-bosses, Stark crate carriers, or Galactus' gatherers. The gathering drones are also a new addition in this update which rain from the sky randomly similar to the marauders from Season Three. Gatherers are highly explosive drones but can be utilized as a weapon upon defeat. There is also a new mode called Marvel Knockout which is a tournament type mode that pits teams of players against each other using only Marvel superpowers.

Only three weeks in and the Fortnite x Marvel crossover is ramping up the output of new content week after week. Players can surely expect new Marvel skins, locations, and weapons to appear each week as well as new game modes that utilize the superhero abilities. In the midst of a heated legal case against Apple, Fortnite is delivering one of its greatest seasons yet.
