Dozens of concept art images for Fortnite skins have leaked online thanks to an official Epic Games survey. These count as only the latest in a long line of Epic-related leaks that have made the rounds in recent weeks. Of course, the classified information that set the industry ablaze earlier in the month came out of the Epic Games vs. Apple trial.

Confidential court documents that slipped into the public eye cover plenty of ground, from the price Epic paid for free games it offers Epic Games Store users to the fact that Psyonix is currently working on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ports for Rocket League. Other classified details disclosed Sony's initial disdain for cross-platform play, which eventually culminated in the publisher taking royalty fees for crossplay functionality on PlayStation platforms. Now yet another batch of Epic leaks is beginning to make waves online, though they bear no relation to the ongoing legal dispute with Apple.

Earlier today, Twitter user Leaky shared dozens of concept images from an official Epic Games survey. The leaked pieces all showcase previously unseen concept skins for Fortnite. Each one is pretty standard Fortnite fare, though still exceptional and unique in its own way. For example, one image in a lengthy thread posted by Leaky depicts a buff, man-sized donkey piñata that dons makeshift tactical gear. A picture further down in the thread reveals a Christmas tree-inspired concept. A female character design appears to have taken pointers from an alternate Earth's Harley Quinn. And yet another concept seemingly drew from G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes, sans the full mask.

Reason suggests the survey asked participants to select their favorite or least favorite skin concepts of the bunch. How Epic Games' developers may use that information in the long run remains a mystery, but it wouldn't be too surprising if a few of these eventually saw the light of day in-game.

Other concept pieces have been floating around over the last several days, too. Fans are especially hoping an adorable, Peely-inspired Monki skin concept makes the cut. For now, though, Fortnite players have plenty of other characters to assume the role of, including the recent released Beast Boy skin.
