Fortnite Season 6 has entered its fourth week, and the weekly challenges are getting a bit weird. While this week's challenges do consist mainly of boring tasks such as deal damage to players and opening a number of chests, one challenge has players launching animals high into the air for their own amusement. That's right, players are being rewarded for finding defenseless animals in Fortnite and sending them flying.

Fortnite Season 6 is primal-themed, and the biggest change introduced this season is the addition of a crafting system. Wild animals can be tamed or hunted for crafting materials, and new structures around the map can be destroyed to harvest Animal Bones or Mechanical Parts. The map also has a primal theme with large buildings being made from bones and scraps, and The Spire in the center of the map holds secrets that are the key to understanding The Seven and the purpose of the Zero Point. But that doesn't mean every challenge relates to Fortnite's storyline. In fact, some would say this challenge is as pointless as they get.

Shockwave Wildlife In Fortnite With A Grenade Or Bow

In addition to reviving a teammate, setting buildings on fire, and eliminating opponents; Fortnite Season 6 Week 4 challenges players to use a Shockwave grenade or bow on the newly added wildlife. Wild animals started to appear on the island at the start of Season 6, and players can either tame them or kill them. However, there is a third option that wasn't brought to players' attention until this week. These animals can be sent on a high-altitude trip thanks to Fortnite's handy Shockwave items.

In order to complete this challenge, players will first need to find Shockwave grenades. These are found as floor loot or inside chests, and they spawn quite frequently. While players can complete this challenge by using grenades, they will have a better shot if they use the grenades to craft a Mechanical Shockwave Bow. This will allow the players more chances to shockwave animals and is a more accurate method of deploying shockwaves. Once players have the equipment, all they need to do is use either the grenade or bow on one of Fortnite's many forms of wildlife.
