Dark Jonesy Oracle has his own quests and location in Fortnite season 8. A big part of what makes season 8 so different is how it handles unlocking items for the Battle Pass. Players still need to complete challenges, but this time, players obtain them from a variety of NPCs scattered around the map rather than the typical weekly challenges. As the season progresses, more NPCs are added to the map with their own set of tasks for the player to complete. Those looking for the fastest ways to level up in Fortnite season 8 should consider clearing out more NPC challenges as they become available. One of the newest characters to join the game is Dark Jonesy Oracle.
This NPC is in charge of the Oracle Speaks questline. He comes along with five different challenges, each one providing players with 30k XP for completing for a grand total of 150k XP for finishing them all. These are the challenges waiting for players.
- Collect scrolls at different IO Bases: 30k XP
- Use a Shadow Stone, then recover the Spirit Vessel: 30k XP
- Touch a Cube: 30k XP
- Destroy the Corruption Cluster and all Corruption Fragments: 30k XP
- Return the Spirit Vessel to the Oracle and hear his Vision: 30k XP
Players will first need to find Dark Jonesy on the map, and speak with him before starting his questline. Fortunately, Dark Jonesy can be found wandering about in Steamy Stacks, where the purple pool is located. Since only five Character Quests can be carried at a time, players looking to clear out this questline will first need to make sure they have space on their list.
Dark Jonesy Character Quests in Fortnite Season 8
At the start of the match, Fortnite players should focus on landing in Steamy Stacks. Dark Jonesy will be wandering the western end of this industrial park. After landing, approach and speak with him to begin his first challenge.
To unlock all five challenges, players will need to complete the task that comes before them. Since "collect scrolls at different IO bases" is the first challenge, players can easily clear this out by landing in a location with a bright red light illuminating from a metal building. This is the universal symbol of where IO Guards can be found, and the scrolls to come along with it.
Completing the Dark Jonesy quests is one of the better ways to unlock the Carnage skin in Fortnite season 8, alongside all the rest of the cosmetics for this season. Players should aim to clear out all of these challenges as quickly as possible. All the Battle Pass content will be locked away once the season comes to a close.
