In order to find IO Tech Weapons in Fortnite Season 7, players should search for a building with a bright red light on the top of it. These are IO bases, visible directly from the Battle Bus. When starting a match, players can land at or near an IO base so they can gear up and start searching for IO Weapons right away. IO bases are heavily guarded, so it will be important to prepare for a fight.
There are two ways to get IO Tech Weapons in Fortnite Season 7. Inside the building, players can find and defeat IO Guards. Once a Guard is down, players can steal their IO Weapon, which counts toward completing the challenge. The other way to get IO Weapons is to search IO Chests within the IO outpost.
To complete the Week 1 Legendary Quest, players will need to find all three different IO Tech Weapons. This includes the Recon Scanner, Rail Gun, and Pulse Rifle.
