Talking to NPCs in Fortnite Season 6 adds each new character to a player's collection and allows them to access quests, purchase materials and weapons, and even hire some characters for help during the match. NPCs became a major part of Fortnite during Season 5 and since then have become something of a staple. Players can talk to 46 NPCs around the map in Fortnite Season 6, but from this season's launch, one was missing. NPC 17 appeared in the game files but not anywhere on the map. That mystery NPC was revealed to be Sparkplug, and she has finally made her appearance in Season 6.

Players can find Sparkplug in a mechanic's garage on the south side of the island. Like the other Season 6 NPCs, she sells resources and offers quests rewarding Gold Bars that players can accept and complete during a single match. Once players find her, they can add her to their collection. She is likely to be the last one most players will need to find to complete their NPC set. Here's how to find Sparkplug in Fortnite Season 6 and what she can offer a player.

How to Find Sparkplug in Fortnite Season 6

The Reaper in a player's collections in Fortnite Season 5

Unlike last season, most of the Fortnite Season 6 NPCs only have one spawn location. Sparkplug is no different. This time, players can find her at Chonker's Customs. This is a landmark located just south of Catty Corner on the southeast side of the island.

To reach Sparkplug, players will need to locate the gas station and enter the adjacent mechanic's garage. She will usually spend time in the office of the garage. As players get close, a small speech bubble icon with three dots will appear on the minimap, indicating her exact location. The first time players speak with her, she will be added to their Collection.

At the time of writing, Sparkplug sells Mechanical parts, which can be used to upgrade basic, Makeshift weapons into Mechanical weapons in the new crafting system. She also has a few quests to offer, mostly related to cars. One has players Fuel a Vehicle for 80 Gold Bars. Another sees players Mod a Vehicle, also for 80 Gold Bars. She can also upgrade a player's weapons. She cannot be hired as a bodyguard, and she does not yet appear to sell any weapons.

Based on her available quests, it seems Sparkplug is related to the new Fortnite Season 6 update allowing players to mod vehicles and increase driving speed and handling off-road. While players look for Sparkplug, they should also be able to find a few of these tires to modify vehicles and complete one of the Week 5 Epic Quests.
