Fortnite Season 5 is coming to an end very soon, and Epic Games announced on Tuesday that the start of Chapter 2 Season 6 will arrive in less than 10 days, which will be kickstarted by the so-called Zero Crisis Finale. Players can complete the finale at their own pace once Season 6 begins. Until then, there's still time to take in all that Season 5 has to offer, including its Battle Pass.

The current season of Fortnite began on December 2 following the massive Season 4 Galactus event, which brought in a record number of players to Fortnite. Those who participated in the event battled Marvel's Galactus, Destroyer of Worlds, who threatened to devour the planet. The battle left a hole in the center of reality, which became the premise for Season 5's Zero Point. Throughout the season, famous heroes, villains, and bounty hunters from major third-party franchises entered Fortnite to help players protect the Zero Point. Now, a Zero Crisis is approaching.

The Galactus finale was a live event where players logged in or watched together, but this will not be the case for the Zero Crisis Finale. According to Epic Games, the Season 5 finale comes as a solo mission with the Season 6 launch on March 16. When a player first logs into Fortnite after launch, they will play through the end of Agent Jones' mission. "The aftermath of this event is sure to shape Reality as we know it," Epic teases. Although the finale won't be a team effort, users can still watch the premiere together before playing. Epic will provide more details on the premiere stream soon.

There's still plenty to be done with the Fortnite Season 5 Battle Pass ahead of March 16. As Epic stated, players should wrap up any quests this week to unlock the remaining Season 5 perks, including post-Level 100 Crystal Styles, The Child Back Bling, and the Breathless Blades Pickaxe. NPCs across the map are also selling Exotic Weapons for reduced gold bar prices.

It's not clear exactly what's in store for the Fortnite Season 5 finale. However, dataminers discovered in February some mysterious NPC dialogue that hinted at a big event coming soon. Deadfire noted that some mysterious things were happening around the Zero Point, while Mancake said something was "unstable." The fact that the finale's title has "Crisis" in the name certainly makes the event sound unsettling. Whatever is happening, it's going to be big. Fans won't want to miss the start of Fortnite Season 6.
