The gnomes are back in Fortnite season 3! After battling it out with the Teddy Bear army in season 2, the gnomes and bears came together and made peace. Now at the start of season 3 the gnomes are back and it is the player's responsibility to track them down. As a part of the week 1 challenges, players are tasked with finding three gnomes at Homely Hills which is a landmark located north of Pleasant Park.
Gnomes have been a part of Fortnite for several seasons now, and each season since the implementation has had players scouring the map in search of them. Week 1 of Chapter 2 Season 3 is no different having players seek out three different gnomes scattered across Homely Hills. These short blue and red porcelain statues can be a bit tricky to find, but with a grade-A guide, players can pinpoint these little guys in no time. Here is where players can find the three gnomes located around Homely hills.
Find The Gnomes at Homely Hills in Fortnite
First things first, players will need to find their way to Homely Hills. This landmark is the large landmass directly north of Pleasant Park, which is a named POI on the Battle Island map. This landmark is a pleasant neighborhood that is home to three mischievous gnomes.
The map above shows the location of all three gnomes in Homely Hills. Each gnome will need to be interacted with by pressing the interact button or key. Each time a player interacts with one a beam of light should be emitted from the gnome and a notification should appear letting the player know they are one step closer to completing the challenge. Once all three have been interacted with, the player will be rewarded with a large amount of XP getting them one step closer to completing the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass.
If the player is having a hard time tracking down these gnomes, they should try checking behind fences or bushes, or even in corners. These gnomes love to hide, but they are also quite giddy. If a player is close to a gnome they may hear a giggle coming from the location of the gnome. If a player listens closely, they will be able to pinpoint the gnomes exact location with ease.
