Fortnite’s third season launched on June 17, introducing new cosmetics, mechanics, and challenges. On June 18, the Doomsday Device Event caused the storm to flood the island. As a result, the gameplay is taking a more water-based theme. While players can pay $9.50 (or 950 V-Bucks) to purchase a Battle Pass to unlock skins, cosmetics, and emotes, there’s still a lot more to do. Complete weekly challenges to unlock additional cosmetics, and complete additional tasks to unlock Aquaman, this season’s special character.
Last season’s special character was Deadpool, the chimichanga loving mercenary. While it isn’t his turn to be a special character, there are still some remnants of him lying around. In keeping with the nautical theme, Deadpool’s floaties seem to be misplaced. Recover them from Mewoscle’s Yacht, which Deadpool took over last season, to finish this week two challenge.
Fortnite Deadpool Floaty Challenge
Due to the flood, the yacht has moved from its previous location by steamy stacks to the center top of the map and is easily visible with its Deadpool head on top. While there are five floaties, the challenge only requires players to collect three to receive 40,000 experience points. Follow our guide below to find all five, or just pick three of the easiest.
Fortnite Eastern Floaty
On the eastern side of the ship, there is an orange storage container. Enter it, and at the foot of the bed is a red and black unicorn floaty. All of the floaties will look the same.
Fortnite Western Floaty
From the orange storage container, move to the center platform of the yacht, on the center story. Walk along the western side, and you will find a floaty in between two lounge chairs, by the railing.
Fortnite Basement Floaty
Go back to the center of the yacht, at the ground level of the statue with the Deadpool mask on. Directly below, in the basement, there is a green screen off to the side. To the left of it by the plunger is another floaty.
Fortnite West Top Level Floaty
Go to the top level of the yacht, past the golden bell. Walk through the hallway and turn west into a room with a Deadpool painting. Immediately after entering the room, turn left to see a Deadpool floaty in the corner.
Fortnite Northern Floaty
The fifth and final floaty is in the northern-most room in the yacht. Enter it and turn left to face the wall, and it will be there patiently waiting for you.
