With a brand new season of Fortnite comes a whole new set of challenges as well as new character skins to unlock. Part of the reason that Fortnite has remained so popular over the last couple of years is the fact that the game gets constant updates that bring new content for players to explore. This new season is no different as players can now play as their favorite Marvel heroes and complete challenges related to each hero.
One of these new additions is one of the members of the X-Men Storm. Like all of the new skins, Storm has her own set of small challenges that will reward the players with new cosmetic items once they are completed. Storm's challenges vary in difficulty, so players will need to stay on their toes if they want to earn her Gale Force Emote. This guide shows players how to complete the Ride The Steamy Stacks in the Storm challenge.
Fortnite: How to Ride the Steamy Stacks
In order to begin working on Storm's Awakening challenges, players will first need to start leveling up their battle pass. Once they have earned enough challenges to reach level 60 they will unlock the Storm skin and be given access to all three of her Awakening challenges. Once the three of these challenges have been completed, players will earn the Gale Force Emote. The second challenge that players are assigned is the Ride The Steamy Stacks in the Storm Challenge.
In order to complete this challenge, players will of course need to travel to Steamy Stacks in the far northeast corner of the map. Here they will find the large stacks extending into the sky, which if players interact with will find out that they can propel the player far into the sky. Sadly, this challenge isn't as simple as just hopping into the stacks and flying into the sky. Instead, they will need to wait until the storm closes in around the area and hop in to fly inside the storm. Keep in mind that this will obviously damage players, so try to escape as quickly as possible once the challenge is complete.
Players should also know that this challenge can only be completed while wearing the Storm skin. Trying to do so without will not complete the challenge, and players will have jumped into the storm for no reason at all.
