Season 6 of Fortnite has introduced Mechanical and Primal weapon classes, and each class focuses on increasing either damage or efficiency. However, the new bow weapons can be upgraded twice by using different consumable items to change what special effect arrows have when they're shot. This guide will explain how to craft every Primal Bow variant in Fortnite Season 6.

Players can craft Mechanical or Primal weapons from Makeshift weapons if they have the proper components. Primal weapons require animal bones which players can receive from hunting animals or breaking boney structures around the map. Mechanical parts are found inside cars or other metal equipment, and players will have to use their pickaxes in order to harvest them. Once a player has 4 of either, they can use the components to upgrade their makeshift weapons.

Crafting Every Primal Bow Variant in Fortnite

Fortnite's new Bows are different than every other makeshift weapon as they can be upgraded twice. There are two additional primal bow upgrades the player can choose from: the Flame Bow and the Stink Bow. However, unlike the Mechanical Bows, there are two ways to craft both of these Primal bow variants. The Flame Bow can be crafted by combining a Primal Bow with either one gas canister or one firefly jar. A Flame Bow will light wooden structures and trees on fire when hit with a fully charged arrow. This bow does damage on direct contact, but its main purpose is to get players out of their wooden fortresses. The Stink Bow is crafting by combining a Primal Bow with either a Stink Sac or a Stink Fish. Similar to stink grenades, fully charged arrows will create a small cloud of stink gas that damages players' white health. Neither Primal Bow variant has extremely deadly capabilities, but they will keep players on the move when under fire.

The Primal Bow only has two variants right now, but they are both very useful when fighting enemies at a distance. Both weapons still use normal arrows as ammo which is pretty easy to come by. This means that players will be able to use each of these bows more frequently keeping enemies on their toes and never giving them enough time to restore their health. For players who want to keep their foes at bay, the Primal Bows are the way to go.
