The hunter becomes the hunted as Fortnite has added Predator to its large roster of licensed characters, and players who are brave enough can find and hunt the Predator mini-boss in-game. In a season full of bounty hunters, it should have been a given that Predator would make his way into Fortnite. The Mandalorian, Kratos, and Master Chief were added because of their tremendous skill in combat, and Predator is no exception. No to mention, Predator is a skilled hunter who almost always claims his prize. Now, it's the player's turn to become the hunter as a new set of Jungle Hunter Quest challenges require the player to take out Predator to claim their reward.
Where to Find The Predator Mini-Boss in Fortnite
In order for players to claim their free Predator skin, they must first hunt him down and eliminate him. Being a tactful hunter himself, players may struggle to pinpoint Predator's exact location. Luckily, he behaves similarly to Fortnite's other mini-bosses as he can be found patrolling the same area every match. As depicted on the map above, players can find Predator wandering around the jungles of Stealthy Stronghold which is a new POI located in the northern region of the map. However, Predator has a couple of tricks up his sleeve that make taking him down a bit challenging.
For starters, Predator introduces a new item into Fortnite called Predator's Cloaking Device. Like in the Predator movies, this allows the user to turn completely invisible making them very difficult to detect. While Predator won't activate this device until after he notices a player, it will make keeping track of him a lot harder. Not to mention he has similar stats to the Wolverine mini-boss from Season 4 and can deal a lot of damage if players let him get too close. Stealthy Stronghold is a densely populated area, but players will want to make sure to keep a safe distance from Predator when taking him on. Lastly, aim for the head and don't blink or you may become the Predator's prey.
