To complete a new Fortnite challenge, players will need to plant saplings at bomb crater clusters on the map. Every week, Fortnite adds new seasonal challenges for players to complete. Clearing these out will reward XP towards their Battle Pass, unlocking new cosmetic items and emotes. Those looking to unlock the Doctor Strange skin this season will need to reach tier 100. For almost every season of the game, the fastest way to level up has been clearing out these seasonal challenges. For week 8, players are now required to plant saplings near bomb crater clusters.

Clearing this challenge will reward the player with 20,000 XP towards their Battle Pass. There will be a variety of locations on the map that have changed because of the battle between the Seven and the IO Forces. It's been a common theme this season to fight back against IO Forces with a handful of challenges. Of course, the map doesn't exactly tell the player where they can find these bomb crater clusters. There are five different locations to choose from for this challenge.

In order to complete this Fortnite challenge, the player will need to plant only three out of the possible five plant saplings near bomb crater clusters. Each location will have three saplings that players can plant, meaning they'll only need to land in a single location to clear this quest. The best place to go would be to the southeast of Greasy Grove which is fairly isolated on the map, making it easier to avoid conflict with enemy players. Bomb crater clusters are labeled by these small brown circles on the map. Just get close enough and there will be a white plant to interact with. Find all three in the area and the challenge will be completed.

Fortnite Where To Plant Saplings At Bombs Crater Clusters

While Greasy Grove is the easiest location to clear this Fortnite challenge in a single game, saplings can also be planted near these areas.

  • Southwest of Greasy Grove.
  • Southwest of the Joneses.
  • North of the Daily Bugle.

When clearing this challenge, try and land away from enemy players to avoid being shot at. It's recommended to find a weapon and shield before going out towards the bomb crater clusters. They're out in a wide field, leaving the player open to get shot at by foes. Especially those players who play Fortnite with no building, it's a bit dangerous to wander the fields without protection. With the season scheduled to conclude on June 3rd, each challenge is essential for clearing the Battle Pass before it's too late.
