One of the new challenges for Fortnite at the start of Season 7 involves placing Rubber Ducks in specific locations around the map. This season, Epic Games has introduced one-off Legendary Quests to add some variety to the Fortnite challenge system. Completing the Place Rubber Ducks quest will net players a whopping 30,000 XP.

There are three locations where the Rubber Ducks have to be placed to complete this Fortnite Season 7 challenge: Believer Beach, Pleasant Park, and Retail Row. However, since these Points of Interest are all relatively large locations, it’s good to have some idea about where to head before taking on the mission. One thing to keep in mind is that the Ducks' exact locations change from match to match, but subtly enough that heading to the areas indicated below should still ensure players see each objective.

Placing Rubber Ducks in Fortnite

Fortnite Rubber Duck Locations

Believer Beach

This is one of the new Points of Interest in Fortnite Season 7. Though it’s similar to design and location to Sweaty Sands, it’s gotten a bit of a makeover. Players might not be as familiar with it as some of the other locations on the map as a result. However, they’ll find the Rubber Duck for Believer Beach somewhere around the pool on the eastern side of the beach, just north of the parking lot there. Players may also find the Rubber Duck on the western beach, north of the resort. The interaction point to place the Rubber Duck will be next to one of the sandcastles there.

Pleasant Park

There is a gas station on the eastern edge of Pleasant Park players should head toward. The Rubber Duck will either be at this location or by the scoreboard of the soccer field across the street. If the duck spawns at the gas station itself, it will be next to one of the pillars holding up the station’s roof.

Retail Row

The Rubber Duck in Retail Row will either spawn inside the basketball court in the southern part of town or outside a house near the court. Players should start their search near the basketball court, as it’s the more recognizable landmark.

The real trick to locating and placing the ducks is to look for the glowing gold interaction point that tells players where to place the ducks. This is a pretty easy start to season 7 of Fortnite, and a great way to earn a quick XP boost. Leveling up characters and earning Battle Stars are critical components of unlocking Battle Pass items and Bonus Rewards, so every bit of experience helps. Players will need to complete as many challenges as they can if they want to unlock all the exciting rewards included this season.
