Fortnite has become famous for its massive live events. The mega-popular online battle royale has hosted a variety of different live events, from a concert featuring a gargantuan Travis Scott to the recent battle with Marvel's Galactus. It's been just over two months since fans boarded the Battle Bus and defeated the Devourer of Worlds, so it's time to start wondering what Fortnite might be planning for its next live event.

The Fortnite Galactus event marked the end of Chapter 2 Season 4 and was immediately followed by the launch of Season 5. This current season has seen some of pop culture's most iconic hunters make their way to Fortnite's island in an effort to protect Fortnite's Zero Point and ensure no one escapes the loop. Iconic characters such as the Mandalorian, Predatorand Terminator have all made their way into the world of Fortnite. While fans have likely enjoyed watching John Jones travel through dimensions to collect these hunters, it's difficult to tell where this season is heading.

Chapter 2 Season 5 is currently in its 10th week, which seems to be the usual runtime for a Fortnite season, give or take a few weeks. However, the Zero Point Battle Pass is set to run until March 15, while the in-game Battle Pass will run until March 16, so it seems Season 5 will continue on for another month and a half. This likely sets up the addition of more Bounty Hunters, as well as additional time to begin hinting at the next live event. The 15.30 patch was implemented just a few days ago, which saw the introduction of a new Star Wars-themed area on the map, Kit's Cantina, as well as the appearance of a new Mainframe Portal, which could hint at Fortnite's next Bounty Hunter set to join the game. Unfortunately, nothing from the 15.30 patch seems to clearly hint at what the next live event might entail.

Fortnite's Next Live Event Is A Mystery (But A Hint Points To March)

Fornite Jonsey surprised

Although there's plenty of hints to work with, there's nothing to definitively confirm any Fortnite live event theories. The Epic Games website doesn't feature any information about an upcoming event, so it looks as though the developer is still building towards something. Considering how much time seems to be left in this current season, there will likely be more Bounty Hunters added to the game before any information about the next live event is revealed. But with several more patches likely to come over the course of the next month and new portals appearing with each Fortnite patch, things could be slowly snowballing into a larger live event.

Although there aren't many definitive answers as to when the next Fortnite event is coming, there is what seems to be a major hint located in Fortnite's Stealthy Stronghold area. As the storm closes in on the enclosed jungle, a distorted voice comes over the area's PA system. It's somewhat difficult to decipher, but it sounds like the voice is saying, "The Zero Point is exposing in six weeks." This has lead some to believe something major, like a possible live event, could be taking place on March 10. This would fall in line with the timeline for Season 5, as the Battle Pass is set to end right around that time.

It's impossible to say for sure when the next live event will be coming to Fortnite, as there seems to be many different possibilities, but it looks as though Epic is building towards something at the end of the season. New updates in the coming weeks should help shed some light on the situation and provide a clearer idea of what's to come.
