According to a trusted Fortnite leaker, Naruto skins and a Hidden Leaf Village Creative Hub will come to the popular online title in less than one week's time. Hints about Naruto's potential Fortnite crossover began circulating earlier this summer, thanks to leaked information that made the rounds on sites such as Reddit. At the time, the assumption was that Epic Games would roll out the content alongside Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 8 update, which launched in mid-September.

Now active Fortnite users patiently await news of the next major update, though rumors and speculation suggest the new content release won't come in the form of Chapter 2 Season 9. The belief instead is that Epic Games plans to unleash Fortnite Chapter 3 before the end of this year. It seems a bold theory, yet it's worth noting that Chapter 2 has lasted longer than its predecessor. So who's to say big changes aren't coming to Epic's ever-popular battle royale experience? Apparently, one such change may constitute Naruto-inspired content.

Well-known Fortnite leaker and Twitter user HYPEX claims the long-rumored Naruto crossover will go live next week on November 16 at 9:00 AM ET. Fortnite x Naruto will, reportedly, consist of cosmetic items and a Hidden Leaf Village Creative Hub. HYPEX wouldn't offer much more in the way of concrete information but told players to "prepare [their] wallets." The leaker's full post on the matter is linked below:

Despite HYPEX's incredible track record with regards to Fortnite-related details, as always, it's best to take leaked information with a grain of salt. But if Naruto does drop onto the island in the coming days, he'll join a wide array of other notable crossover characters from popular culture.

Before Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 kicked off in September, for example, Epic Games added Marvel Comics hero Shang-Chi to the game in celebration of the character's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. A couple of other beloved Marvel characters have entered the mix since then, namely Carnage and Tom Hardy's Venom. Of course, DC heroes and villains previously joined the fun as well, with the likes of the Dark Knight, Superman, Harley Quinn, Beast Boy, and Suicide Squad's Bloodshot appearing on the battle royale's roster. Suffice it to say, Naruto will be in good company if he does indeed arrive on November 16.
