The next bounty hunter crossover skin for Fortnite Season 5 has been revealed and Halo's Master Chief will be joining Agent Jonesy in stopping anyone who attempts to enter the Zero Point. Fortnite Season 5's storyline is centered around bounty hunters, and who better to hire than the five-time covenant-stopping Master Chief

Fortnite Season 5 has already proven to be another season full of incredible crossover skins. Starting off strong, players who purchase the Season 5 battle pass gain instant access to The Mandalorian skin, and reaching tier 100 rewards the player with the Baby Yoda back bling. During the season's first week, Jonesy called upon the help of none other than God of War's Kratos which came with an entire set of items. As the season progresses, more and more crossover characters will make their way onto Fortnite's island.

Master Chief was revealed live by Epic Games during The Game Awards 2020 as the next bounty hunter to join Fortnite Season 5's elite roster of mercenaries. Master Chief is one of gaming's most iconic protagonists sporting his highly recognizable military green spartan armor. Master Chief is available in Fortnite's item shop with his base skin costing 1,500 V-Bucks. He also comes with an exclusive matte black armor variant for players who complete a round of Fortnite on their Xbox Series X. But that's not all that Master Chief is bringing to the world's most popular battle royale.

Along with the Master Chief skin, players can relive some of their favorite Halo moments by playing on the all-new Blood Gulch map that has been remade in Fortnite. The map will be available in Fortnite's creative mode starting tomorrow, December 11, at 10 a.m. EST. Blood Gulch is one of the most iconic Halo maps from the original 2001 title. Fortnite players can play rounds of capture the flag or create their very own game modes using the map.

Fortnite Season 5 is proving to be one of the most ambitious seasons yet with introducing one of Sony's most iconic characters in its first week and then introducing Microsoft's most iconic character the week after. Fortnite's creative director Donald Mustard has ensured there is more to come, but what else could players possibly ask for? It seems as if Jonsey is going to need all the help he can get to protect the Zero Point, even if that means calling upon the mainstays of some of the most beloved videogame franchises.
