Following the massive Marvel crossover event that was Season 4, Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5 has arrived. Season 5's theme is bounty hunters, and while there are a few familiar faces, including everyone's favorite masked icon Din Djarin, the Mandalorian, many of the new NPCs and skins are characters exclusive to the Fortnite universe. In addition to new NPCs and Battle Pass skins, players can see a few new changes to the map, including the addition of desert and jungle biomes reminiscent of the Chapter 1 map. Like always, players can earn XP to boost their Battle Pass and unlock the season's cosmetics. One of the fastest and easiest ways to do this is by completing Weekly Challenges and special timed challenges.

One limited-time challenge during Week 1 tasks players with finding Mancake's Maple Syrup stash in Hunter's Haven. This is a new POI on the map, and each room of the building corresponds to the aesthetic of one of the hunter Battle Pass skins. Players will first need to find Hunter's Haven, given many are probably still used to the Marvel layout from Season 4, then avoid NPCs and opponents to find the stash. Here's how to find Mancake's stash and earn 10,000 XP to kick off the new Battle Pass in Fortnite Season 5.

Where to Find The Maple Syrup Stash in Fortnite Season 5

Mancake's Maple Syrup Stash location in Fortnite Season 5

To find Hunter's Haven, players will need to locate the new desert biome on the map and the new POI revealed during the massive season-ending Galactus event, "Zero Point." This is the POI that has formerly been called The Agency, The Authority, and The Ruins. The Hunter's Hut can be found directly south of this, between Weeping Woods and Lazy Lake. It should have a label on the new map, though it will show up as "???" until the player discovers it the first time.

Once at the POI, players are looking for a big, glowing bottle of maple syrup. They will need to find a large building with a balcony and patio on the southern edge of this location, directly south of the letter H in "Hunter's" on the map's label.

Players can find the syrup on the balcony of this building, hidden beside the HVAC unit. They will need to follow the button prompt to interact with it and complete the challenge.

Players only have a few hours to complete this quest and earn the associated 10,000 XP when they log in, so they should prioritize heading to Hunter's Haven first. They will need to look out for powerful NPCs in the area, however, as well as other opponents trying to complete this challenge before time runs out. They can then start working on filling bounties or completing other Weekly Challenges to get a head start on their Battle Pass. Or, if they prefer, they can jump into their Beskar quest to begin upgrading The Mandalorian's armor.
