The wreck of the Razor Crest from Disney's hit series, The Mandalorian, found in Fortnite is rumored to be changing soon, according to an online rumor. The ship crash-landed onto Fortnite's map at the beginning of Season 5, bringing Din Djarin and Grogu into the fray, but the ship itself may be undergoing some further changes in the season's next phase.

Fortnite's ties with Disney mean that some of pop culture's biggest and most profitable franchises have been making regular appearances in the popular battle royale game, including the MCU and Star Wars. So it was no surprise that Disney's current Star Wars series bar for excellence, The Mandalorian, would eventually show up, as well. Rumors of Mando and Baby Yoda were all but confirmed when developer Epic Games leaked a launcher icon featuring the pair ahead of the November 30 launch date for Season 5. When the season did kick off, the Mandalorian and Grogu came along with the deadly Amban sniper rifle and the crash site of the largely intact Razor Crest as a POI. But since Fortnite developers apparently can't help but steadily leak new information, players now know that the Razor Crest may meet the same fate it does in The Mandalorian season 2.

Twitter rumormonger InTheShadeYTknown best for posting Fortnite leaks, claims that an unnamed Epic Games concept artist has revealed there will be changes to the Razor Crest crash site later this season. What those changes are and what they entail, or even if the news is credible, remains to be seen, but anyone who has watched Chapter 14 of The Mandalorian's second season can probably guess exactly what those changes could be. (Warning: Spoilers ahead for the Disney+ series!)

While the news is currently only speculation with no real hard evidence from Epic Games or any of its staff, it is entirely plausible that the Razor Crest will be seeing some major changes in Fortnite to mirror the ship's tragic fate in The Mandalorian. In season 2's "The Tragedy," the ship is destroyed by Moff Gideon from orbit, leaving behind a smoldering pile of debris and a despondent bounty hunter. So it stands to reason that the Fortnite version will undergo something similar, if the leak proves to be credible.

Depending on how closely Fortnite's chooses to follow the show with its own Mandalorian exploits, Season 5 may see more focus on Grogu's exploits as well. But that all remains to be seen as Season 5 goes on (unless, of course, another developer leaks more information).
