Season 8 of Fortnite is officially here, and the fastest ways to level up have changed yet again. Fortnite has brought back the Punch Cards, items that players can receive by talking with the different AIs around Apollo Island. Each resident has their own Punch Card, full of missions for players to complete and earn XP.
Completing Punch Cards rewards XP for the Battle Pass, granting access to things like Fortnite's new Carnage Skin. New residents will come to Apollo every week, offering more Punch Cards to complete. Punch Cards are a great way to consistently earn XP in Fortnite Season 8, but their limited supply leaves players empty-handed once their missions are completed for the week. Unfortunately, there are no repeatable quests for players to complete and farm XP either, as the entire quest system has been redone.
The fastest way to level up in Fortnite Season 8 is going to be, primarily, through the Punch Cards. Five missions are included with every Punch Card, and there is a total of 15 AIs that hand out Punch Cards. Once the Punch Cards are completed, however, the AI characters will only award Gold Bars. Of course, XP can still be earned just by playing the Battle Royale, but there aren't any weekly quests in Season 8. Fortunately, playing Creative and Impostors will continue to be great ways to earn XP.
How to Level Up Fast in Fortnite Season 8
For those who are unfamiliar with this new game mode in Fortnite, Imposters is a limited-time mode of Fornite taking heavy inspiration from Among Us. Like Among Us, Imposters takes 10 players and assigns them various tasks to complete across a small map. Two players are designated as the Imposters, and their job is to eliminate everyone who isn't an Imposter. Imposters awards XP that is substantially larger than any amount that any player could earn in the normal Battle Royale Mode. Take full advantage of the limited-time mode while it's here to level up fast.
Creative mode continues to be an easy way for players to level up fast and earn everything new in Fortnite Season 8. Like past seasons, players can simply sit for an hour and fifteen minutes in Creative mode to earn 126,000 XP per day. As far as XP gains go, this is definitely one of the easiest ways to earn XP fast in order to level up. Depending on how much time one has, it might be best to sit in Creative mode for the given amount of time before getting on, then tackling the Punch Card missions, and finishing out the day with Imposters.
