The team behind Fortnite has made an error by listing a music track featured in the Season 6 Battle Pass as a purchasable item in the game's Item Shop. Fortunately, developer Epic Games has since yanked the track down, removed it from the inventories of those that had purchased it, and refunded anyone that picked it up. In its place are now a number of different cosmetic items just vying for the attention of consumers, with plenty of crossover content readily available in the Item Shop.

As of this writing, the most recent crossover skin in Fortnite is John Wick and his ally from the most recent film, Sofia. The cosmetic, which resembles the actor behind John Wick (Keanu Reeves), has long been a fan-favorite skin for Fortnite players. It was last available in the game in 2019, so it has been a couple of years since gamers have had the chance to add the character to their roster. Of course, not everything is always as exciting as a crossover of this scale, and the latest issues on Fortnite's Item Shop have fans scratching their heads.

After gamers noticed that a music track (an exclusive unlockable as part of Fortnite's Season 6 Battle Pass) was listed as a separate purchase on the game's digital storefront, Epic Games quickly took action to correct the oversight. Taking to Twitter, it was confirmed that the 'Wild Lobby Track' had been removed from the store and that those who had purchased it would see it removed from their Locker and their V-Bucks returned. While a rather odd situation itself, the developer has acted on the oversight quickly.

Truth be told, this is hardly a major controversy, but it's nice to see that Epic Games wants to ensure that exclusive content featured in Fortnite's seasonal Battle Pass remains limited to those that drop money to participate in it. The ongoing Season 6 added a ton of great exclusive characters as well, with Fortnite getting Neymar Jr, Lara Croft, and Raven skins as part of the current Battle Pass.

As gamers wait for the opportunity to unlock Neymar Jr in Fortnite, there are plenty of other crossovers and items being teased for the game. For example, many believe that Peter Griffin may join Fortnite as a playable character in the near future. While that's an absurd premise, it's also one that's sure to generate a ton of laughs from gamers dropping into the Fortnite battlefield.
