Gamers dropping into Fortnite this weekend will notice that Tony Stark has gotten his hands on the game's iconic Battle Bus and has decked it out in some sweet Iron Man armor. While seasons passed and various events have changed the look of Fortnite's Battle Bus, its new Iron Man armor may play into Chapter 2 Season 4's storyline.

Fortnite Season 4 features a large variety of Marvel's greatest heroes, who are all fighting to stop Galactus from consuming The Island. Thor, the herald of Galactus, summoned heroes such as Iron Man, Wolverine, and Groot to fight alongside him in the battle to save reality. Over the past seven weeks, Fortnite's island has seen several new additions including various Tony Stark-themed gadgets which players assume will aid in the final battle against Galactus. Tony's most recent handiwork may have turned the Battle Bus into a god-killing machine.

The Fortnite Battle Bus updated today, October 10, to don a new set of Iron Man armor and equipment. Thanks to notable Fortnite leaker and Twitter user FireMonkey who posted images of the Iron Man Battle Bus from all angles. The Battle Bus can be seen wearing Iron Man's iconic red and gold plating, with a few bits and bobs of miscellaneous technology placed on the exterior of the bus. According to FireMonkey, the Iron Man Battle Bus will only be around until October 21 before it is replaced with the Fortnitemares bus, but the Iron Man armor could return after the Fortnitemares event.

The Battle Bus' updates may be subtle, but they do make it look a little beefier. The parts could operate similarly to Iron Man's suit where the small additions now could expand when activated. The update also added some heavy metal plating which makes the bus look more battle-ready. The vacuum-esque attachment on the front of the bus could be used during the final battle against Galactus in some form or fashion. Or maybe the updates are purely cosmetic and they won't play a significant role in the store.

Regardless of whether or not the Iron Man bus does play into the story, it is nice to have these subtle changes to Fortnite. Not every update needs to be as massive as a new location or unvaulted weapon. Sometimes, hopping into Fortnite and seeing the fruits of Tony Stark's labor is enough to satisfy the needs of Fortnite's hungry fanbase.
