A new holiday skin for Krisabelle is the final gift in Fortnite's Winterfest event. Throughout the holiday event players were able to open up one gift a day for 14 days in a special lodge area inside Fortnite. The gifts were able to be opened up in any order the player wished except the final large one that contained the new holiday-themed skin for Krisabelle. As this is the final day of gift-giving, players now have access to the last present.
The Cozy Lodge in Fortnite allowed players to earn a lot of different rewards throughout the holiday season without ever needing to enter the battlefield. Most gifts contained simple cosmetics like new weapon wraps, loading screens, and the new Fortnite x Matrix crossover glider. Included with the gifts was supercharged XP earned by watching the fireplace next to Sgt Winter, and lots of little hidden clickable items that players could explore.
The only other character skin given away in Fortnite's Winterfest gift-giving event was for fan-favorite Peely. This Frozen Peely skin was inside a present locked in ice, players had to wait for it to thaw out before opening it. Now that the last day of gift-giving is here, players can access every present and try to complete all the Winterfest challenges before the event's end date of January 6th.
How to Open Presents in Fortnite's Winterfest
Opening gifts in Fortnite's Winterfest is an easy process that doesn't require players to enter the battlefield at all. At the main menu, there will be a small snowflake in the upper right-hand corner, next to the V-Bucks option. Clicking that will take players to Fortnite's Cozy Lodge where Sgt Winter sits in front of the fireplace sipping his drink. Presents are scattered throughout the lodge and are available to open in any order the player wishes. The Krisabelle skin lies in the large present on the left side and has been locked until all other presents have been opened.
If players have missed any days of Fortnite's Winterfest rewards they will have a backlog of gifts to open before they can receive the final present. Once available, click the large golden-wrapped gift and hold 'E' to open it. Inside lies the brand new Winterfest Krisabelle skin that players can use immediately after receiving it. Fortnite has always created fun and unique ways for players to earn rewards, and Winterfest 2021 is one of the best since it is completely free and doesn't require players to own this season's battle pass.
