Epic Games has revealed that they are releasing a brand new Boogie Down emote for Fortnite players to unlock. After adding the Galaxy skin just yesterday, Epic Games has once again highlighted just how involved they are with the popular game. This new emote won't cost players any V-Bucks, though, and luckily, it doesn't necessitate a Battle Pass, either.

Due to Fortnite's popularity with kids - parents are even paying for their kids to get lessons - it has become a prime candidate for hackers all over the world. Essentially, people are trying to entice the younger player base into clicking shady links by offering free V-Bucks and exclusive skins. Kids who click the links that promise these rewards often receive a virus, or reveal their login details to the hackers, giving them access to the credit card attached to the account. Unfortunately, this has been happening with online games for a long time - however, the developer has found a solution for the issue.

On the official Fortnite Twitter page, Epic Games has confirmed that they are releasing a new Boogie Down emote for any players who set up a certain security measure: two factor authentication. Fortunately, this isn't quite as difficult to set up as the name implies. All you need to do is the following: First, log in to your Epic Games account, either through Epic.com or the Epic Games Launcher. Then, click the drop down menu beneath your username, and select "manage account". Next, click "password and security", and click the option that reads "two factor authentication". From here, you'll receive a unique QR code.

You'll need to download an authentication app, such as Google Authenticator, in order to verify the QR code that you'll get from having clicked the two factor authentication option. From now on, whenever you log in or go to make a purchase from the in-game store, you'll need to provide a temporary code from the authentication app as well as your password. Therefore, hackers who attempt to steal your login credentials won't have enough information to steal anything that actually matters, like your money, as they can't gain access to your QR code.

And that's it! The next time you log in to Fortnite, you'll have a brand new Boogie Down emote. Also, you'll have made your account much more secure in the process. It's always nice to get loot in exchange for doing something productive! The Boogie Down emote is available now. And if you act quickly, you could be one of the first people to have it!
