A strange crossover between Fortnite and Goat Simulator 3 will let players unlock a buff bovid skin for the beloved battle royale shooter. The original Goat Simulator made headlines back in 2014 thanks to its wacky premise, which sees players control a goat and cause as much property damage as possible across an open-world map. Developer Coffee Stain Studios showed off a Goat Simulator 3 reveal trailer back in June, and now a special pre-order bonus will act as a tie-in to Fortnite. Epic Games' Fortnite has become well-known for its crossovers, with skins letting players engage in battle royale combat as characters from Marvel Comics, Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z and more. The title's most recent crossover was particularly unique, however, since it serves as a collaboration with fellow live-service shooter Destiny 2. The fascinating crossover was announced last month, with Fortnite now containing a unique recreation of the sci-fi title's Zone Control Crucible game mode and Javenlin-4 map. The mode also includes loadouts that reflect the Bungie RPG's three classes, making the Fortnite and Destiny 2 crossover event a particularly robust collaboration. Those who pre-order the unusual indie title on the Epic Games Store will receive a bizarre new Fortnite outfit aptly named "A Goat." The skin is exactly that: a muscular bipedal version of the franchise's goat mascot, Pilgor, wearing a tank top. "A Goat" will also be available to purchase directly from the Fortnite Item Shop beginning November 26, but those who pre-order Goat Simulator 3 before September 29, 2023 will receive the outfit for free.

Goat Simulator Smashes Into Fortnite

While the strange simulator isn't set to launch until November 17, a Goat Simualtor 3 gameplay trailer recently shed light on the innovative sequel. Building upon the foundations laid by the first game, Goat Simulator 3 will deliver a fresh experience through the addition of 4-player online co-op and customizable goats. Players will be free to alter their goat's appearance, helping them stand out in a crowd or look stylish while destroying everything in their path. Goats can apparently drive cars now, too, which will greatly expand the chaotic possibilities.

The two titles may seem like an unlikely duo, but a collaboration will let Goat Simulator 3 players unlock a unique new outfit for their Fortnite wardrobe. Doing so will let fans fight through the beloved battle royale using the likeness of Pilgor, which is sure to confuse anyone who encounters it. Goat Simulator 3 is set to release in November, and Fortnite fans should be sure to pre-order the indie sequel on the Epic Games Store for a free cosmetic.
