According to a recent leak, the famous speedster Flash from DC Comics is about to become the next crossover superhero in Fortnite. One of the latest crossover characters was G.I. Joe Snake Eyes who became available a week ago.

After a short period of G.I. Joe-related teases, Epic Games officially announced that the iconic Snake Eyes character was coming to Fortnite. The hero’s representation in the game proved to be as faithful as possible. Dressed in his recognizable black costume, Snake Eyes received an accompanying pickaxe in the form of his iconic katana and a matching back bling to complete the look. The whole set of cosmetics landed in the Item Shop for every nostalgic-feeling Fortnite player to grab.

The next superhero-inspired in-game Fortnite tournament is expected to take place in just two days, according to a popular leaker iFireMonkey. On Twitter, the insider published a handful of information regarding the upcoming tourney. Most importantly, the event will revolve around DC’s Flash - the famous speedster is the next superhero personality to make it into Fortnite. Thanks to iFireMonkey, fans can have the first impression of what the character will look like in the game. The design seems to be inspired by Barry Allen’s costume from the CW TV series. It appears that the suit is taken straight from the 3rd season of the popular show. The tournament in question will welcome Duos of players. The winning Duo of every geographical region will secure the Flash outfit before it lands in the Item Shop. The Flash Cup is reportedly taking place this Wednesday, February 10.

Another big recent Fortnite crossover featured two action film icons: T-800 and Sarah Connor from The Terminator classic movie franchise. To be more specific, both characters were rescued by Fortnite’s John Jones at the very end of Terminator 2: Judgement Day through the Zero Point to join the outstanding roster of bounty hunters in the game. Such a legendary duo of personalities received a dedicated trailer, which briefly set the stage for the impressive crossover.

The Flash Cup will probably launch a series of DC-inspired tournaments, much like it happened with Marvel Cups back in 2020. There’re still plenty of superheroes out there to feature in Fortnite, which means Epic has a rich roster of characters to choose from. It’s quite surprising, though, that the speedster’s appearance was inspired by the TV show rather than the DCEU version of Flash represented by Ezra Miller. Perhaps, he might still be included considering the multiverse nature of Fortnite’s Season 5.
