The Tover Token is a currency in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 used to unlock body parts for the customizable Snap Outfit, and players must collect three tokens at Shifty Shafts to acquire the Skin's tomato-like Head, 'Mato. Shifty Shafts is a named location found on the northern portion of the Battle Royale Island, southeast of Logjam Lumberyard and southwest of Sleepy Sound. At this landmark in Fortnite, the three Tover Tokens are not located in the main compound. Instead, the tokens of Shifty Shafts can be found in the mines on the mountain in the northern section.
Snap is a featured reward on Page 1 of the Battle Pass for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. To unlock this Skin, players must use nine Battle Stars. Once the Outfit is available, fans can modify Snap's character with various body parts, such as the 'Mato Head. Once the Tover Token Quest for Shifty Shafts has been completed, players can claim or equip their reward once the match ends. To view Snap ('Mato) or other options for the Skin, select Locker from the main menu and open Outfits. Then, go to Edit Style to equip or swap out 'Mato with another Head.
After arriving at Shifty Shafts in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, players can find the first Tover Token by heading up to the mineshaft entrance north of the central compound. Go up the slope to reach the red minecart with a chest on the railway track extending past the ledge, overlooking the area. The token will be sitting on the rails behind this minecart.
Fortnite: All Tover Tokens In Shifty Shafts
To find the second Tover Token in Shifty Shafts, head into the underground mineshaft entrance near the first token. After walking past another red minecart, take the first right turn. Next, go down the dirt ramp to the pile of coal and turn left. From here, players must go towards the wall with the wooden barrel and take a right to find the next Tover Token. The token will be in the entryway, directly beneath the door frame.
The third and final Tover Token in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 at Shifty Shafts is in the landmark's northernmost structure. After picking up the second token, turn left, go up the mountainside, and continue upward towards the west. After reaching the upper portion of the ridge, fans will discover two minecarts buried in the dirt near a building. Approach the structure's sealed entrance and use the Harvesting Tool to break through the wooden planks. The token will be inside halfway along the railway.
