Fortnite Season 7 comes with a new alien-themed Mythic weapon to use in Battle Royale, courtesy of the new NPC boss Doctor Slone. Players will need to defeat her to use this new Mythic Weapon. Here's what that new Fortnite Season 7 Mythic Weapon is, and how to get it.

Every Mythic Weapon in Season 7

Fortnite Season 7’s first new Mythic Weapon is called Doctor Slone’s Mythic Pulse Rifle. This weapon is an extra powerful version of the standard Pulse Rifle. It is fully automatic without aiming, but the pace of fire slows slightly when aiming. Here are the basic stats for this new weapon:

  • Damage: 38 per shot
  • Magazine Size: 16 shots
  • Fire Rate: 4.2 per second
  • Reload Time: 2.67 seconds

The Mythic Pulse Rifle is held by Doctor Slone, who must be eliminated to obtain the weapon. Slone is a new character who leads the resistance against the alien invaders of Season 7. Players can find her inside the red barn at Corny Complex, through a large circular metal door. While the door can’t be destroyed, a nearby staircase will let players descend. Doctor Slone can be found near the lobby, but players will need to eliminate the IO guards protecting her. Note that Doctor Slone can also spawn clones of herself to damage and confuse players, making the fight more difficult.

Fortnite IO Tech Weapons

The Mythic Pulse Rifle uses Medium Ammo and has a headshot multiplier of 1.5x. It is a hitscan weapon, and it has First Shot Accuracy enabled. When attacking a target at close range or an enemy structure, hip firing the weapon will deal a higher DPS and kill enemies faster.

Besides the new Mythic, the only other currently available Mythic Weapon is the Goldfish. Players can also collect three new IO Tech Weapons by defeating IO Guards or searching IO Chests at IO Outposts around the map. The Mythics of last season, like the Spire Assassin’s Primal Shotgun, are currently vaulted and unavailable for usage in Battle Royale. However, Epic Games is likely to add plenty more alien-invasion-inspired Mythic weapons over the course of the season.

Until new Mythic Weapons are added to Fortnite Season 7, players should head over to Doctor Slone and give her new Pulse Rifle a try. Practicing with this weapon may give players a huge edge in Battle Royale and keep them occupied until more Mythic Weapons are revealed.
