Throughout the world of Fortnite, there are all kinds of activities and challenges for players to complete. While the main core gameplay of Fortnite is built around defeating others in combat, there is still a wealth of other interesting things for players to do. With every new update to the game there are new game modes, new in-game challenges, and even brand new items for players to collect throughout the world.
One of the newest updates to the game has added in a brand new form of currency for players to collect called Gold Bars. If players collect these bars they are then able to trade them with NPCs in order to purchase new gear or level up their existing items. By far the easiest way to collect Gold Bars is by opening up safes, but these can only be found in certain parts of the map. This guide shows players how to find the five safes throughout Steamy Stacks.
Fortnite: Steamy Stacks Safe Locations
These five safes can be located fairly easily, but players should keep in mind that they won't always appear every time the player comes here. The spawn rates are relatively low, so it is a possibility that none of the Steamy Stacks safes will appear whatsoever. Luckily, this is an easy place to explore so if players find themselves here they might as well check all of these locations out as quickly as possible. Players should just keep an eye out for enemy players while they are exploring in order to make sure they don't get attacked. Here are all of the safe locations:
- Safe #1 - To start players will want to drop in on the main building in Steamy Stacks. Once on the roof, they can use their pickaxe to break through and drop in on the second floor. There should be a safe next to a chest.
- Safe #2 - The next safe can be found on the opposite side of the building on the same floor.
- Safe #3 - If the player heads east from the second safe and cross the street they will be able to find a set of stairs leading up to an office building. Players should break through the wall next to these stairs they will see the safe across the room from them.
- Safe #4 - Going south to the next building where there will be on the ground floor in a long hallway.
- Safe #5 - The last will appear inside the building on the far eastern edge of the Steamy Stacks. Players will find the safe on the far top floor inside a room on the west of the building.
