When players first start the new season and Battle Pass in Fortnite, they will unlock Thor as their starter skin and, if they are playing on the paid version of the Battle Pass, they will also unlock his Awakening challenges. During the season, as players ascend through the Tiers of the Battle Pass, they will unlock new Marvel superhero skins. These skins often come with several accessories, a themed harvesting tool, a set of weapons, some colorful costume variations, and new emotes. While many of these are available as soon as the skin is unlocked, there are a few players will need to access by completing the Awakening challenges for each character. Often, these challenges have something to do with the character and their special powers.
For Thor, players can get started this week on his Awakening challenges. One of these asks players to find his hammer, Mjolnir, which unlocks the Mjolnir harvesting tool. Another asks players to find several Bifrost Rune markings around the map. There are all concentrated around the same area, making this challenge a little less difficult to complete, but they are found in a new location on the map that players likely have not encountered prior. Players who complete these three challenges can access the God of Thunder exclusive emote, so it is worth exploring the map to learn the layout of this new location and get a nice reward along the way. Where to find the Bifrost Markings as Thor in Fortnite Season 4
This season, the Bifrost marks are located in the new Sentinel Graveyard landmark. At this location, players will notice the remains of giant robots scattered about. This landmark can be found south of The Authority and east of Weeping Woods.
The marks are concentrated to the area west of the fallen Sentinels on a hilly patch of grass. There are six circles. Players will need to equip the Thor skin prior to making their way to this location and move toward and around the marks for the challenge to count as complete.
The other two Awakening challenges for players to complete while using the Thor skin are to find Mjolnir and to emote as Thor on the mountaintop ruins. This will reward them the Mjolnir pickaxe tool and and the God of Thunder exclusive built-in emote.
As players continue to level up in the Battle Pass for Season 4, they will gain access to more superhero skins with new Awakening challenges. They will also be able to work toward unlocking the Season 4 special skin, Wolverine, by completing his special challenges each week through Week 6.
