With each passing day, it is looking increasingly more likely that DC character Deathstroke is going to be Fortnite's latest addition. Fortnite's Season 6 launched last month and has continued the battle royale's tradition of bringing non-stop action and content to its huge audience of players. While Season 5 captivated fans with some of the largest crossovers in the game's history, Season 6 has not disappointed either.

This season has witnessed the arrivals of some pretty big names, such as Tomb Raider's Lara Croft and popular Teen Titans character Rebirth Raven. In a bid to keep injecting new content into their game, Epic Games recently announced a crossover between DC Comics and FortniteThe partnership, titled Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point, includes six different comic books that give players the chance to dive into the combined worlds. The narrative revolves around Batman, who is thrown into a completely different environment where he must fight his way through new villains to remember who he is and how he landed in the battle royale in the first place.

In a post that has added more credence to the growing reports, Notable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR shared the cover of the fourth comic book which features Deathstroke alongside Batman and Catwoman. Players are growing excited by the prospect of playing as the popular supervillain for the upcoming DC Comics and Epic Games crossover. Other leaks indicate that a glider for Deathstroke is coming to the battle royale as well. As of now, many believe the glider will be available to players as a reward for purchasing issue four within the digital miniseries.

The crossover features six issues, with each one highlighting a different adventure or set of obstacles Batman must find a way to overcome. The digital miniseries officially begins releasing on April 20. The timing for all of this new content could not have come at a better time. Fans have been desperate for new events to come to Fortnite, as illustrated by the relentless calls for a concert to be hosted by the rapper DaBaby last month. Fans have been craving new content. Epic Games has established lofty standards when it comes to making new content available. This latest crossover is sure to please its tens of millions of users.

Considering the popularity of DC Comics, this latest collaboration with Epic Games is surely the right answer for the occasion. This isn't the first time Fortnite has worked with comic book entities, previously working with Marvel, DC, and Hasbro. Those proved to be extremely popular. Fortnite has perfected the template for successful crossovers, setting standards other battle royales should be trying to replicate.
