The ever mischievous Deadpool is back at it again in Fortnite providing players with more challenges to complete in order to unlock more rewards and get one step closer to unlocking the Deadpool skin. Every week Deadpool offers a couple of challenges that are fairly easy to complete and in return he offers the players a reward, however, the week 4 Deadpool challenges offer players the best reward yet... his precious set of katanas for players to wear on their backs.

Of course, being the best reward yet the challenges have increased in tediousness. And similar to last weeks challenges they have players going into games to complete them. However, where players could easily complete the week 3 challenges in one round, this weeks challenges may take a few rounds before players can get their hands on those katanas.

Finding Deadpool's Katanas in Fortnite

Fortnite deadpool katana location

The first challenge is very similar to every other Deadpool challenge so far. Players are tasked with finding Deadpool's 2 katanas that are hidden around HQ. I use the word "hidden" lightly because the first one is found inside Deadpool's hideout sticking out from the wall. Of course, players will need to go inside of Deadpool's hideout from the Battle Pass lobby screen to find the first katana, but chances are you were already headed there for this week's challenge anyways. Click on the first katana and it will disappear.

The second katana can be found inside the Upgrade Vault which is accessed from the Battle Pass lobby screen. This is where players have the ability to customize Maya by completing her weekly challenges. The katana is leaning against the wall to the left of Maya in plain sight. Click on the second katana to collect it and the first challenge is complete.

At this point, you may be thinking that since you collected both katanas you should now have them to wear as back bling, but Deadpool still has one challenge for you before you can wear his infamous swords.

Dealing Damage to Structures in Fortnite

Fortnite Removing Legacy Controls

This is where things get tedious. In order to unlock the katana back bling players are tasked with dealing 10,000 damage to player-built structures. Meaning, player damage to natural built structures does not count towards the total. Only damage to builds that players have created counts towards the total.

Mat health differs according to what mats are used. Wooden builds have a max health (fully built) of 140-150. Stone has a max health of 280-300. and Metal has a max health of 460-500. A player would need to destroy 20 metal walls that are fully built in order to complete this challenge as quickly as possible.

It is important to note that a player has to deal damage directly to the builds in order for it to count. If a player takes out the base of a large structure and causes it to collapse, only the damage dealt to the base will count towards the player's total.

This can cause the second challenge to span over multiple games, but the reward for completing the challenge is worth it. Once a player has completed the second challenge they will have unlocked the Deadpool's Katanas Back Bling in Fortnite.
